"I used to be kind of pathetic in my past, a 'chūnibyō', I went around school with big-ass tough headphones around my neck and I wasn't even listening to music"Momosuzu Nene
In half an hour, Mozumi Pichi may or may not pull an April Fool's prank on us. I don't really care either way, I'm just happy to see her streaming again
Anyway, IRyS is the final guest for Flare's Birthday Live.
The guest list is Watame, Fubuki, Marine, Kanatan, AZKi, Mio, and IRyS. Also, her message while announcing IRyS is sweet:
"Announcement of guests for Shiranui Flare Birthday Festival LIVE 2024.
The last one is my best friend, my bond, IRyS.
Tomorrow we'll have fun together with Holo's divas!"
I don't watch IRyS, but her friendship with Flare is one of the most wholesome things. No surprise IRyS will be there for this, but it was very sweet of Flare to annouce her like this. She really does have to nicest things to say about IRyS. I'm sure this will be a lot of fun for everyone, so looking forward to checking in on it when I can.
Imagine how desperate you'd be, looking at a company like VReverie who has lost seven out of nine talents and go: "yep, I'll trust my career to this company."
Mint will be appearing on Matara's channel in 30 mins from now. We've already got 2.4k ppl wating in the stream.
Some pre-chatting by Matara: View attachment 67285
The podcast episode linked below will be airing after the stream above.
I must admit I'm a bit relieved it turned out this way - dipping a toe back in rather than a full on debut is more in line with what she'd been saying as dearsqn - I'm not inherently bothered by a talent lying to cover up an upcoming debut, but faking that level of emotional vulnerability would have seemed kinda manipulative....
Looks like this was always in the works before she went to Japan. Doing a podcast ain't easy especially if they're going to have guests. Matara probably tried to get Pomu to joib VShojo but still respected her decision to take her time about everything. This is a fine middle ground, coming back but just going indie at the moment. Who knows, maybe she'll be like Doki and just continue being indie. Right now I'm subbing to Mint.
Saw someone cooking an amazing theory that Mint is doing a podcast instead of a full vtuber redebut because someone Kiara got her signed for HoloEN Gen 4. I guess the theory is that this podcast would keep her relevant & earning some income while waiting for EN 4 to debut.
Sounds unlikely but I think she deserves it. It would also cause /vt/ to melt down for weeks, which would also be pretty funny.
