Add three-view indie to the list of people getting 3D before Nijisanji.
I'm still completely baffled as to why the #2 EN corpo is taking this long for 3D debuts when we've seen indies and small corpos like V4Mirai get them out much faster.

I'm not saying she'll keep 30k, but I think it's completely possible she'll do better numbers now than she did as Selen, even after things settle down.
I think she can grow to 10k

This is gonna keep happening, isn't it?

It's probably only a matter of time before corpos start getting paranoid about picking up mods from the community, and I'm not comfortable living in a world where hiring paid jannies is common practice.
If corps can't trust the jannies around graduation time, the talents will just get the black text on a white screen treatment and not get to do their farewell tour and rake in the graduation donos. Getting to do a farewell tour is a gesture of goodwill that a corpo does for a talent on the provision that they believe the talent won't damage the corpo's image or interests, and openly directing viewers away from the corpo like that is the exact opposite of that.

There's only one EN vtuber who have 10k+ average last year. Ironmouse with all her popularity only average 8k+ and she's on twitch.

Agreed, I don't see her having 10k+ average but her numbers will likely fluctuate a lot like they did as Selen. Some streams she might dip to high 3 view but others she might be pushing into 10k-15k territory. She'll be fine. The thing with most corpos is if you can retain half your status after you leave, you're doing fine because you don't have to worry about the corpo cut. With Nijisanji, we don't know how fucked their revenue split is so she might just be doing insanely better if she drops to half her Selen numbers. For a lot of these talents, they don't see themselves downsizing to half when they leave, they fear completely fading out of relevance down to 2 view status.

I meant regular 10k streams. Average - probably can grow up to 4-5k.
Average is deceptive number anyway. Something like 'peak 1hour sustained' is much more important, and 'minimal CCV for 80% duration'. Then you can average these numbers to get proper analytic.

To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand Jelly Hoshiumi. Her humor is extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of Thermal Expansion most of the jokes will go over a typical viewer's head. There's also her nihilistic outlook, which is deftly woven into her characterisation - her personal philosophy draws heavily from Homestuck literature, for instance. The starknights understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of these jokes, to realize that they're not just funny - they say something deep about LIFE. As a consequence people who dislike Jelly Hoshiumi truly ARE idiots- of course they wouldn't appreciate, for instance, the humour in Jelly's existencial catchphrase "AWAWAWAWAWA," which itself is a cryptic reference to Toby Fox's epic MEGALOVANIA by Sans Undertale. I'm smirking right now just imagining one of those addlepated simpletons scratching their heads in confusion as my genius unfolds itself on their computer screens. What fools... how I pity them. 😂 And yes by the way, I DO have an Alice tattoo. And no, you cannot see it. It's for the ladies' eyes only- And even they have to demonstrate that they're within 5 IQ points of my own (preferably lower) beforehand.

Gonna be honest, I'd prefer 9-to-5 paid jannies un-emotionally doing their job, instead of power-tripping creeps huffing their own farts.

Pretty sure I recall seeing Cover mention in their financial reports every quarter that their moderation is done by 50 mods, 5 are employees and 45 are part-time. Makes sense, pay some retard in a 3rd world country a part-time wage that goes far in their shithole country and they'll be motivated to punch in/punch out. I remember Indonesians farming gold in WoW and those fuckers followed a strict work schedule because the money they made from selling the gold to lazy Americans was huge for them.

For small corpos it'll never happen, they can't afford to do anything other than rely on volunteers.

For big corpos, they were already moving in that direction. But Cover and Niji typically leave fan spaces up to the fans, so big communities like fan discords will always be vulnerable to the whims of their jannies. Even if the corpo is paranoid for channel mods I don't think there's anything they can do to stop this practice in the wider community. Something as simple as twitter spam would do it.

But who are going to write the signature, build minecraft projects and writing letters if you are gonna hire emotionally detached moderators? Who will do the grooming/getting groomed? :amegunl:

Also 50 is too small a number. You sure about this. There are currently 86 member in holo pro.
None of these make sense, why would she give up streaming completely just because of some art contracts?
We think she is reincarnating mate. Some smaller corpos who can't afford paying actual artist like anycolor would want a talent who can also draw.
Wouldnt make sense otherwise to graduate out of the blue. She was fairly popular too. :hic:
Either you go for that logic or think she is going to disappear off the internet forever. And I'd have hope and prefer the reincarnation everytime.

Venezuelan Peso to WoW Gold is a tracked metric for some very sad reasons.

That said, I'm pretty sure a lot of Cover's mod staff that is part time is Japanese & simply have other jobs then do the late-night moderation. Though the thought of a PassportBro sitting in some cheap location part time modding a streamer is humorous.

So, Tenma having the gymbro crowd on lockdown was not what I just expected to find out about, but it does make a bit of sense.
