Reimu name keeps popping up in shit that seems like too much of a coincidence. Like all the tweets she made which looked to be directed at Dokibird's suicide attempts (i believe 3 tweets in total).

Niji seems to guard the male EN livers a lot more than the female ones. Made sense with Luxiem, because of their earnings, but Aster isn't that big. Remember the sudden weird collab between Aster and Scarle as soon as that one discord convo was leaked? Scarle's the higher earner, yet seemed to be forced to collab with Aster to guard him, although that could be seen as guarding the company's overall rep instead of just Aster's.

I wonder if Aster might have some sort of connection or something. Makes no sense to me that they would go out of their way to protect him so much.

Not only is he not big, I'm also quite sure that he was one of the least popular livers, smaller than many of the females.

Aster is possibly the least popular in Niji from Gens 1-6. Its possible he has some whales and extremely parasocial/dedicated fans.

Edit: Also, this is actually heartbreaking to me. Throughout all of this, the one thing that was never in doubt was that Denauth is a tight-knit group and that they deeply care about each other. And with Ryoma being considerably older than Twisty, I could genuinely believe that he was a positive influence on her life, if not to the point of being something like a father figure. If you want to believe her claim that she changed and has become more sensitive to other people's feelings, I think he was a big part of that change.

As an aside, I don't get the confidence here that Aster is somehow going to come out of this alive. Twisty was at least allowed to stream, he has not streamed at all. From what it looks like, his suspension, while still lax in the way that he is still allowed to do merch and meet and greets, has been more strict than Twisty's.
If Nijisanji at any point wanted to hold onto one of them, I'd wager it was Twisty.

Ryoma does seem like a decent dude but if this shit is somehow heartbreaking to you then you should probably not be so emotionally attached to a company that has shown to be dogshit multiple times.

Pure rrat, but its a full day between her apology and his tweet. Really doubtful he didn't hear about this immediately like the other two that made a PL tweet did, so it might be about her not coming back like you said.

Despite what I think about her, it's very disturbing to imagine that Niji has decided to harbour a known sex pest for god's knows how long just to not rock the boat, making things even worse now that one of their talents has decided to screw all the rules and drop the bomb. Just an all around clown show for everyone involved.

The worst part is that they were doing this for the consistently lowest performing liver in the branch (at least until Twisty's wave) and also siding with him over the highest performing liver of the branch (Scarle) who earns almost 20 times what he does.

If they were willing to do this for him, how far would they go to protect someone that actually makes them money?

It's because allowing persistent sex-pesting, even just through incompetence rather than because they're explicitly okay with it, is impossible to defend PR-wise. You can salvage partisan issues simply by picking a side and saying whatever they want to hear, since you only have to get your hands dirty once then your supporters will handle the rest for you (see the Zaion/Selen termination documents) - but being repulsed by a man sexually harassing a woman is bipartisan. There's nobody they can appeal to, so their only option is to maintain the official story that nothing happened (sometimes with a bit of force like the Scarle thing) and hope enough people believe them.

Yeah, some of us had a group DM with Quinn this afternoon - I don't know if all the people involved want to identify themselves but Quinn said it was fine to share all the info she dumped on us. Here's what I think were the important bits.

• Most importantly, NOA is still moving forward. I think we all assumed the whole thing was dropped once the web site went down but the site is back up and it's looking like talents will debut next month (they were supposed to debut earlier this month but things were pushed back).
• After her posts on Twitter (the Quinn ones, not the EIOS ones) Quinn was fired from NOA with a Zaion-like enumerated list of crimes, albeit just shared with her instead of posted publicly. (So keep in mind that all this info is coming from someone quite biased against Noa.) The tweets were listed there but then there was a bunch of procedural stuff about commissioning artwork without getting proper invoices and other bullshit nobody cares about until they need a reason to fire you and, most bizarrely, not properly "reminding" Sayu of her flight, causing her to miss her first flight to Shanghai. Yes, apparently Quinn was expected to be a grown adult's personal alarm clock or something. She says NOA still owes her about $4000 in payments and reimbursements which were supposed to be paid by September, which is part of the reason why she's burning this bridge now.
• She doesn't know who the original 4chan leaker is but says the info is accurate: Yuefu, Metishon CEO with his government and business ties, ran almost everything and He Xiaotong, NOA CEO, had little control of his own. It's likely this is still true. Unlike what the leaker said she contends she really did sympathize with the former talents, however.
• Quinn actually joined the company before Xiaotong and recommended him and many of the talents to join, even though he had a bad rap from his involvement with AuroraliveVR; she was willing to believe he had learned from the experience.
• After her firing Quinn reached out to the talents she had brought on board to apologize to leading them into what she now believes to be a black company, but most of them did not respond, most likely because they still intend to debut for the company and management may have used her as a scapegoat, saying that she was the cause of all the company's problems and with her gone there would be no more problems.
• This part is a little unclear but based on evidence provided I'm inclined to believe it… hold on to your butts. Despite the stream Sayu did back in July after coming back from Shanghai where she said she wouldn't be working with the company (remember she was there when while the internet found out about the attempt to rebrand Surge), she may still have some involvement with them and might even be debuting under them with other talents next month. Sayu had already signed a contract of some sort before the Shanghai trip so maybe she couldn't back out of it and/or maybe NOA threw more money at her, who knows. But if debuts do happen next month and Sayu is a part of it, I will believe that there is truly no helping that woman.
