That looks like it was based on that drunken salaryman stumbles home game Loki played while doing a Shinji Ikari impression the entire time.

They must have saw Marathon getting a completely awful reception and decided "nah, let's just cancel the game and get the tax write-off".lmao
Could have easily been a Titanflop.
Yeah, the game they went immediately to developing after releasing the second game before fixing all the performance issues with the second game.Reminder that Respawn also cancelled a Dark Forces-style FPS too. This leaves the third Jedi game as their only announced game in the pipeline.
Still shite on PC?Yeah, the game they went immediately to developing after releasing the second game before fixing all the performance issues with the second game.

I haven't played it since like 3 months after it came out but I distinctly recall them saying "we're not going to make any more patches for performance, we're moving on to the third game" while there was still distinct issues. From what I've read based on people responding to the recent Respawn tweet, the game's performance is still fucked on PC.Still shite on PC?
Every single executive and entrepreneur has it drilled into their skull repeatedly that there is no such thing as a monopoly if one thing is even mildly successful a competing product especially one that something distinct to offer can also exist in the same market.Do companies really think they can get the battle royale spark again with extract games? The tarkov Yamanbas are not going to stop playing their ruskie slop in exchange for FOTMs every company will try to shit out
Tarkov is coming out on Steam by the end of the year I believe. So the absolute best thing that could happen for Marathon or any other Tarkovoid/Gunt Showdown bootleg would be getting all of the "uhm, akshually I only use Steam and unironically post about Lord Gaben on r/PCMR" shabbos goyim to try actual Tarkov, realize it's abysmal dogshit, and then buy a game that has the same core idea but actually functions as a game and can hit more than 47 FPS on every map.Do companies really think they can get the battle royale spark again with extract games? The tarkov Yamanbas are not going to stop playing their ruskie slop in exchange for FOTMs every company will try to shit out
Meanwhile Kotaku still manages to shamble on.In brighter news!

They'll eventually be sold for a ham sandwich.Meanwhile Kotaku still manages to shamble on.
Xbox controllers tend to be the default controllers for PC. I find that Switch controllers work for most games though. Oh, and Playstation controllers can be good choices too, if you don't mind that form factor. (This includes PS4 controllers.)Xbox Series consoles, controllers, and accessories are getting a massive price hike. "Some" games will hit $80 (how the fuck does tariffs affect digital versions?). I don't think Microsoft is surviving this gen in the console space.
