When they were pushing the whole "volunteer" thing I suspected it was bullshit but to have confirmation that it came from the organizers is nice to know. I agree with what Kirsche said on her last stream that volunteering wont fix anything and at that point you are just giving them free labor.

What irony it would be then if, due to the news of their internalized racism against white people that then white people no longer offered to volunteer and thus it fell entirely to the local population of POC to submit to offering free labour.
