Just because you were a newfag tourist and didn't notice doesn't mean it was such a great time.
People screech about "something being rotten in the state of Holo" nowadays, but back then it wasn't a fucking rrat, there was fucked up shit happening every few months and the company scrambled to put out fires constantly. All of these graduations are just pocket change, nobody in the company is surprised, it's been all planned for and accounted for, you will never get that panicky feeling of knowing the guys inside are just as clueless as you are.

theres probably less and less superfans from 2020 or people interested in telling people it wasnt all sunshine and rainbows, especially in the ever fleeting normie space. The industry is also much more different as a whole, both within Hololive and what Hololive ended up inadvertently creating, which is pretty much the entire modern vtubing industry and subculture (atleast in the west)

It has been a lovely day with egg hunts, helicopter attacks, and gambling.

Translated information was taken from this clip and the hololive Fan Server Discord. The event will divided into two phases that will use different servers. This is the PvE phase.

Rules and information

• The server will last from April 19th, 19:00 JST to April 29th.
• The server will run 24/7.
• The map seed is 649861369.
• PvP will be at an absolute minimum. PvP is allowed as long as the involved parties consent to it first.
• There will be a big event on April 24th.

It's time for the recap. This post was used as a base.

Spoiler: Day 1 recap

• The game itself has an Easter egg hunt event going on until April 24th where eggs can be found, and inside the eggs members can find items and weapons. This event occurs every 45 minutes or so.
• Pekora starts her stream by already having died to a wolf.
• Shion and La+ are hanging out together exploring the island. They come across a turret at some ruined houses and slowly back away from it.
• Koyori, Haachama, and Anya find an underground dungeon. Haachama goes inside and explores underneath.
• Pekora has already developed thanks to finding good items inside barrels.
• Nene got a horse and it got stuck inbetween some barrels. She works to free the horse.
• Bees and hives are a new thing added to Rust since the girls last played. Some trees now have beehives and some members discovered the consequences of chopping those trees (like Biboo, Polka, Vivi, and Haachama).
• Biboo died to an armed NPC. Kaela had found a gun and a hazmat suit in a building.
• Vivi wonders if she can eat a cactus. She gets hurt after hitting one with a rock and gets angry at it.
• Miko is in the snow area and waiting for a box to open. She died to the cold. Meanwhile, Su sighted Calli who already has a hazmat suit. Miko met with Calli shortly after who already has a hazmat suit.
• Miko finds a horse and later dies to fall damage due to the new horse physics reacting to collisions.
• Anya and AZKi explore the island together. The two enter a town and meet with an NPC. They find where the gambling games are including a computer blackjack. They also find a stage to play musical instruments on. The two give the instruments a try.
• Fubuki gets herself a crossbow. While traveling she comes across a treasure hunter NPC. She hits a horse in the safezone and gets gunned down by turrets as a result. She has to wait 5 minutes before she can enter safezones without getting killed on sight. Fubuki later got killed by a turret.
• Biboo meets with Calli who's playing off-stream. Calli gives Biboo some items and hang out together for a while.
• Ina meets up with Moona and discovers that she didn't set the censor settings properly, so she's manually covering up Moona with the rock while she fixes the settings.
• Luna is already working on building a base for herself. While making the base La+ come across it and chats with Luna. Matsuri is also building a base as well.
• Shion has her horse die to fall damage. She proceeds to beat a dead horse. AZKi got mauled by a bear.
• Nene comes up to Kaela. Nene asks Kaela kill her so Keala starts stabbing Nene with a spear. Nene explains that she's close to dying and thanks Kaela for killing her. Kaela is one step closer to become the ultimate villain and she works to dispose of Nene's body.
• Noel is playing around with a motorcycle and drives it off a small cliff. She gets it stuck after trying to climb back up. Polka and Choco help her in getting the bike unstuck. Noel got the bike unstuck but drives it full speed backwards into the water, getting it stuck again. Polka pushes the bike out of the water.
• An easter egg event triggers on the sever. Different eggs spawn around the island with the members finding them. It should be noted that to pick up an egg you need to hold E to pick it up. A high score of who collects the most eggs can be seen on the top right of the screen. After the event, the winner is Choco ("0214") with 37 eggs collected.
• Pekora works on building her own base. It serves as a spot to keep her two horses and her items. Pekora has some skins so her chests can be decorated with neon bunnies on the outside.
• Staff (as "unei_1") logged on and met with to Nene help her fix microphone issues. La+ has been having a bad time where she keeps dying.
  • La+ has been suffering from motion sickness and has to vomit at some point.
• Calli and Biboo agree to make a base and live together. The two look around to find a spot to build their base. While exploring around the two come across Luna who's working on her own base. Biboo practices her JP speaking skills to Luna, and Luna shows them her base. Luna gives the two some pumpkins as a gift.
  • Also Biboo: "Apparently you can eat people?"
• Vivi meets up with Moona for a bit, with Moona helping Vivi out in finding where to look for items.
• Koyori while in the desert with her motorcycle runs out of fuel for it. She carries it as far as she can with it before deciding to hide it in bushes until she can find fuel for it.
• Pekora on her horse meets up with Koyori who shows her the motorcycle. As they leave, Pekora takes potshots at Koyori and the bike.
• The base that Pekora is making is planned to be a base for the newbies of the server (Think like a main HQ base of sorts). AZKi plans to build alongside this base but it seems she is unable to at the moment. Eventually Pekora comes by and unlocks the base for AZKi for her to help build alongside Pekora. Anya meets up with AZKi and gives her some materials to help with building the base.
• Kaela and Moona finally meet up. The two plan on playing and building together. While talking they meet up with Haachama who was passing by.
• Shion finds the gambling area and proceeds to do some gambling with the roulette wheel.
• Fubuki gets to work on building her own base. It is located in the desert nearby the water. Fubuki later finds a motorcycle that she gives a test run on.
• Biboo and Calli meet up with Ina while heading to a lighthouse. Biboo offers Ina to live with them and Ina accepts. The three of them hang out and explore together. Ina shows them her bed and tells them how she took Feng Shuei into consideration, by making the bed face eastward. While exploring they meet up with Chihaya who tags along. The four find a swamp with drinkable water.
• Vivi meets up with Noel. The two explore around together looking for food.
• Miko begins work on building her own base. Current base location is unknown but it appears to be nearby some rocks and trees.
• Su also meets up with the Biboo, Calli, Ina, and Chihaya. Biboo went after Su and as an apology she gives Su a gift of food.
• Shion meets up with La+. Shion asks La+ for some scrap (the game's money/currency) to use for gambling. In exchange, Shion gives La+ some food but when she threw the food, it falls into the gaps.
• The EN girls begin to build their base with Chihaya and Su settling nearby.
• Another easter egg hunt begins with many members splitting off to find eggs. The winner is Fubuki with 37 eggs.
• Haachama, Miko, and La+ are also gambling at the wheel with Shion.
• More members have been building their own bases and settlements including Anya, Kaela, Moona, Nene, and Polka. AZKi continues work on the newbie HQ base and EN members are working on their own base with Chihaya and Su.
• La+ loses all her scrap and hits the wheel, causing the NPC's to kill her. Luna discovers the piano while on the server and proceeds to play on it.
• An NPC Huey helicopter approaches by Biboo, Calli, Ina, Chihaya, and Su. Biboo quickly builds a roof of the EN base and tells Su and Chihaya to take shelter inside until it goes away. The Huey goes away for a bit but soon it comes back and they have to hide again.
• Chihaya and Su are making their own base together nearby EN base, which turns out to be at coordinate R18. Shion and Miko get to work on building their own bases. At the EN base, Biboo and Ina set up some planters to build a farm. Calli also improves their flooring so its actual wood and not just some sticks.
• The next easter egg hunt occurs. Various members stop what they were previously doing to collect the eggs. Biboo learns that having an egg basket makes collecting eggs a lot faster (more like instantly) than compared to just collecting them with your hands. Thanks to the basket, Biboo was able to win with 57 eggs. Biboo tells Ina and Calli about the egg basket strategy.
• Kaela and La+ meet with each other. La+ leads Kaela to her house that is under construction. Another Huey shows up and kills both of them.
• Pekora also dies twice due to the Huey. She respawns and meets up with Shion and La+ at their base.
• Subaru logged in. She had gotten a horse but she lost it. It turns out that Luna had found the horse and took it.
• Anya partakes in some gambling at the wheel. Nearby the gambling area Anya meets up with Noel.
• AZKi continues building the HQ Base. AZKi builds the base so the outside looks like a pyramid, possibly as a reference to the Pekomid in the Minecraft server.
• Shion comes across Kaela at her base and gets shown around. Kaela tells Shion that she's teamed up with Moona and it's their base. Shion also takes Kaela to her base and shows it off to her.
• Subaru plans to stay inside Luna's base for the time being. La+ ended her stream as YouTube is apparently having issues in Japan with her stream. Likewise, Shion and Chihaya put up a new stream.
• Ina and Chihaya meet up, and Ina gives her some mushrooms for food.
• Biboo found a saddled horse and claims it as her own. Ina makes a joke to Biboo saying that she's horsing around.
• Fubuki meets up with Miko, and Koyori and La+ at the recycler at the supermarket. They see Fubuki has been geared up with items. Fubuki also has her own horse too.
• Miko and La+ hunt for some wolves. Miko runs out of ammo and the two flee on a bicycle. The two proceeded to travel around.
• Nene, Anya, and Haachama partake in some gambling together. Koyori paints a sign for her base with "PEACE Please!! We are Friends!!" in English.
• Miko wants to do a BBQ party using human meat.
• Pekora meets with Kaela at Kaela and Moona base. Kaela asks Pekora about her base and team and Pekora says she doesn't have her own base nor is she part of a team (not counting the one she's in with AZKi since they're making the HQ base). Pekora asks about her TC but Kaela says she doesn't have one (likely hidden). Pekora wants to touch their TC and tells her that she is best friends with Kaela and Moona. Kaela recalls to Pekora what happened last time, and Pekora responds that Kaela is dangerous and runs away.
• Another egg event occurs. This time its at night so its dark to see and find the eggs. Biboo is the winner with 75 eggs. Chihaya and Su meet up with Biboo and praise her for her egg collecting. Biboo gives congrats to the girls as well for their good egg hunting.
• Biboo uses the eggs she's collected, along with the eggs of Calli and Ina, to upgrade and get a golden egg for a special prize. She gets herself a rifle. She flexes off her gun to Su and Chihaya next door, and explains how she got the gun by saying "Kintama gun" (kintama means "golden balls"). Biboo got informed by chat what she actually said. She can see how the clips will go.

• Fubuki meets up with Azki and Mio. Fubuki gives a horse for Mio, and Mio and Fubuki head off to Fubuki's base. Fubuki shows Mio her base and explains the Rust game mechanics to her.
• Polka and Koyori explore an underground cave together.
• Nene and Shion meet each other in inflatable horse outfits and the two play around with them.
• Moona gets herself a working car.
• Vivi meets up with Aki. Vivi gives Aki some items to use. Kobo also meets up with the two of them. The 3 of them hang out together for a bit gathering nearby items. Aki also helps to teach Kobo how to play Rust and the game mechanics (she explains in simple English).
• Next easter egg hunt begins. Biboo is very excited and immediately drops what shes going to find eggs. For some members like Aki this is her first egg hunt, so she's learning how it works in Rust with Vivi. Pekora learned the egg hunting strategy and is able to collect them at a much faster pace than before. Biboo realizes that more eggs spawn if you're closer to more people. If you're alone and away from people, then less eggs will spawn near you. Pekora wins with 72 eggs.
• Anya meets up with Miko and La+ with their bicycle and they explain to Anya what they have been up to.
• Biboo makes her plastic lawn chair and places it outside of their base.
• Fubuki hangs out in the gambling center with Haachama and Su. Fubuki teaches them how to convey and use emotes (to make it look like you're dancing). Pekora shortly comes by the gambling area (she wants to use the recycling machine) and see the girls gambling. Laplus and Polka also joined up with them to partake in some gambling.
• Watame finds hot air balloon and gives it a test run. Matsuri is also nearby seeing what Watame is up to.
• Biboo learns about more Rust mechanics including being able to call people, and building your own cars.
• Choco meets up with Kaela at Kaela's base and offers a trade. Kaela gives Choco some cloth for her to use, and Choco thanks her for them. I think Choco gave Kaela a bearskin for her base.
• The gambling house has become and active, loud, and busy place with different members betting their scrap. Polka, Fubuki, Haachama, Koyori, Laplus are present. During the chaos Polka ended up hitting an NPC and died just outside of the gambling house. Koyori ended up losing her money.
• When Polka died from the NPC, she respawned and went back to collecting supplies. Polka meets up with Kaela nearby who is holding a knife in her hand. After some talking in passion English, Kaela gives Polka some chocolate. Polka tells Kaela that she loves her.
• Anya and Miko come across a crate in the snowy area (sometimes timed crates fall from the sky that can have good loot). The two have been exploring around the same snowy area (Pekora is in the snowy area too). Miko allows Anya to get a hold of the contents of the crate.
• Watame met up with Vivi. Watame agreees to build her house nearby Vivi's making the two neighbours. AZKi Choco, and Su joined in with the gambling.
• During the gambling, Fubuki betted and won on a x20 spot on the wheel. There was much cheering and celebrating. The wheel landed on a 20 again a second time in a row. After the large wins Fubuki leaves the gambling room. The rest stay to do more gambling. Fubuki flexed her winnings to Miko.
• The next egg hunt occurs. Biboo says shes too busy exploring an NPC area to go egg hunting. Pekora's true secret to fast egg hunting is to wear the bunny ears, a bunny suit, and carry an egg basket for instant egg catching. Haachama wins with 54 eggs. Haachama celebrates her win with the others at the gambling area.
• Fubuki makes it back to her base. She lives with Mio and the two share the base together. While Fubuki has been out Mio has been working on improvements to the base. Fubuki gives Mio some food.
• Biboo finds a boat on the water and takes it with her back to her base. On her way back home, Biboo shoots a hive to get a honeycomb and gets chased by bees.
• Koyori spots a supply drop approaching and waits for it to arrive alongside Subaru. She sets up a pink smoke thing to help detect its attention. While waiting, a bear attacks the two of them but Koyori was able to shoot it down easily.
• Kobo was able to get her own horse with help from Aki. Aki teaches Kobo how horses in Rust work.
• Fubuki is able to make her own tape recorder and jukebox. She makes a recording with the tape recorder and plays it on the jukebox.
• Biboo back at home sees that Calli had became a bag, which meant that Calli's body had died instead of just sleeping. Biboo wonders how it could've happened and learns that the Huey probably shot Calli through the window.
• Aki and Kobo meet up with Biboo at her house. Biboo shows them around the EN home. Kobo while inspecting Ina's body learns that you can loot from people. Biboo says they're free to drink and use the water from the water catcher. Aki tried to ask Biboo if Kobo can join their team, however Biboo seemed to mishear her. They explain to Biboo that they're both "hitori bocchi" (shy introverts). Biboo explains to them that she got the gun from the golden egg (this time saying kin no tamago instead of kin tama). After some chatting, the two leave Biboo's base.
• Mio went fishing nearby the water.
• Subaru has been planning on making a Bunny Garden of sorts.
• Biboo finds out that Su was starving looking for food, so Biboo runs up to Su to give her some food to eat. Su thanks her for the food.
• Choco meets up with Aki and Kobo who were with Pekora and shows off her guitar to them. Choco takes a ride on AKi's horse and they travel together. Aki and Choco soon meet up with Shion and the three have a chat.
• Subaru and Miko scheme to rope Mio into a "department store" for bunny garden. Miko also made phones for the other members. Biboo got a speedboat.
• Another easter egg event begins. Different members head out to hunt for eggs. Biboo has very unfortunate luck as almost no eggs spawn nearby her. She finds most of the eggs in the water. Pekora wins with 82 eggs. Biboo wants to know where everyone is camping out so she can stalk nearby and get more eggs.
• Koyori meets up with Luna and chat for a bit. Luna has the inflatable rubber horse outfit. Luna tells to Koyori that she followed their example of building close to town.
• Subaru tells Su to come to the "department store" later. She also told Aki and Choco about it.
• Luna witnesses Riona flying around in a hot air balloon. Riona lands only to get shredded by a Huey.
• Choco asks Aki if she can borrow her horse. Aki agreed and Choco went off. The horse died after several minutes and takes her with it. Meanwhile Fubuki, Miko, Su, and Shion partake in more gambling shenanigans with Miko having a boombox on her.
• Biboo is making a dock at the water for her boat. Anya, Vivi, Pekora, and Matsuri explore the water treatment plant in the snowy area together.
• The four have a standoff while waiting for a crate to open. Pekora lured Matsuri away from the crate to let Vivi grab it but Vivi kept staying instead of running away. Pekora steals Anya's horse "Apple" and ran away.
• Pekora returned to the site with the horse and agreed to have a battle. Anya was hesitent but agreed. She gunned down Pekora. Matsuri had died. Anya and Vivi are just standing around Pekora's body. Anya proceeded to play her guitar.
• Aki begins work on building her own base. Other members like Shion, Miko, and Kaela have been working on building and improving their own bases. Biboo also makes improvements to the EN base by adding additional workbenches and items to craft things.
• Moona made a garage for her own car.
• Biboo asks chat about where the gambling area is. She is very curious about the area and wants to check it out.
• Miko wrote a sign for the Bunny Garden that reads "Sexy Garden" in English. Pekora overheard Pekora saying it and got her to be like "Who said sex?", which gets overheard by Miko and Subaru. Riona met with Calli.
• Another easter egg hunts begins. Fubuki was in the lead with the eggs however she kept getting attacked by wolves and got injured when she jumped from a too high place to get a egg. Biboo ends up winning with 65 eggs.
• Mio and Fubuki get phones and test out calling to each other.
• Shion is working on making a large farm outside of her base using the triangle planters.
• Fubuki records a song with Mio on the tape recorder. The two listen to the playback and laugh at the recording.
• Luna's own base has been looking pretty fancy. It has actual looking house walls on the inside (instead of just stuff out of stone and wood). Luna makes a sign for her base, writing "Na House" in Japanese.
• Biboo arrives at the gambling house with Choco being present. Meanwhile, Miko and Subaru come across Luna's base.
• Biboo wins a bet. She the proceeded to go all in and lost everything. Choco proceeds to enable Biboo by giving her more scrap to play with. The two enter a feedback loop of enabling each other. Shion comes by and joins the two in their gambling. Eventually Choco and Shion run out of money and leave the gambling area. Biboo stays behind to gamble a bit more. Biboo plans to bring Calli and Ina here next time. Biboo tells chat to not let Calli and Ina know that Biboo lost all of her money gambling.
• Aki continues work on her own base, making a large multi-floor structure with towers.
• Another easter egg hunt occurs at night time. Fubuki wins with 72 eggs. After the egg event Kaela and Koyori meet up and comment on their egg amounts. Kaela jokingly asks if Koyori wants to die, with Koyori slowly backing away from Kaela. Koyori says she wants peace and Kaela agrees. Kaela gives Koyori chocolate as a sign of friendship.
• Riona meets with Luna at her house. She was so happy that after she left Luna's place, she muted her mic to scream a bit. She's building her own house somewhere near Luna's place, calling it a "kimochi warui" (creepy) move. Luna passed by, Riona muted her mic to scream again after Luna left, and was then mauled by a bear. Another bear dropped by, and Riona respawned really far from Luna's place.
• Riona was near Luna's place when a boar chases her. Luna tried to save Riona, but she couldn't find a gun. Riona died in the end. Riona calls herself "pathetic" (nasakenai) because Luna tried to protect her LuKnight, and vows to get stronger. Riona made it back and Luna let her spend the night at her place and gave her some stuff.
• Aki, Anya, Miko, and Subaru meet up at Aki's base. Subaru and Miko tell them about the Bunny Garden that they are working on.
• Fubuki and Mio make some plastic chairs inside their base for the two to sit on. The two hang out together in their home with their tape recorder and jukebox. Fubuki also makes her own mini roulette wheel inside their home. Fubuki made her own mini roulette wheel inside the base. Clockwise starting from the top left, the results are "Mio", "Money", Love, and Fubuki.
• AZKi unlocks the ability to to craft rocket launchers. It's going to be put to good use.
• Anya, Miko, Subaru, and Aki meet up together. Fubuki passes by the four of them while on her horse. There was an airdrop near a bunch of the bases, which is why the members came out to see if they can get the items. Even Luna came by to check out the air drop. The girls check out the airdrop and share the loot among the members. While checking out the air drop a Huey comes by and starts shooting down at them so the girls run into Miko's house for safety.
• Another easter egg hunt occurs. Kaela tries to get the eggs but kept getting shot down by the NPCs in the area. Miko wins with 83 eggs.
• Moona does some work at the junkyard.
• Kaela talks about how she plans to be the best villain on the Rust server that ever was. Chat tells her that she has 9 days to prove that, and Kaela will.
• Miko and Subaru sets up a picture frame outside of the bunny garden house. It has a picture of Subaru dressed as a bunny girl. Subaru also makes her own hanging sign on the side for the Bunny Garden.
• A supply drops happens on the snowy area of the server, with Anya, Pekora and Aki reaching it at the same time. The three of them wait for the timer to reach zero and for the box to open. Koyori eventually joins up with the others to wait for the box to be unlocked.
• Aki, Anya, Koyori, and Pekora argue over the contents of who will get what. They decided to solve it by a shootout. Pekora killed Aki and Anya killed Pekora. Koyori fled the scene. Aki respawned somewhere as she didn't set up a bed. AZKi noticed Pekora's death due to them being in a group together. Anya plans to apologize to them by giving scraps.
• The next easter egg hunt occurs. Only some members partake in the hunt (but it is enough to fill the top 8 list). Pekora wins by far with 69 eggs. The rest only got close to 30 eggs.
• AZKi engages a Bradley IFV. Bradleys now spawn well armed NPC's, which makes AZKi withdraw. AZKi returns to try again with the NPC's being despawned. She got more hits on the Bradley to the point its burning but gets killed when the Bradley gets close. Pekora rushes to the scene and finds AZKi's body. AZKi came back and the two finish off the heavily damaged Bradley together. Unfortunately, the loot drop wasn't very good.
• Fubuki partakes in some solo late night gambling, with Miko soon joining alongside her. Fubuki has a jukebox that plays a recording of Mio singing a song so she can sing along while the color wheel spins.
• Kaela meets up with Miko. Kaela tells Miko that she's a villain. Miko asks Kaela about raiding an underground subway but suddenly the next easter egg hunt begins and they went off.
• Shion tries to participate and entered a dome but eggs aren't spawning nearby her. She decides to parachute down the building but dies. Pekora wins with 84 eggs. Kaela and Fubuki are the joint runner-ups with 67 eggs. Miko and Kaela get back to their conversation, with Aki meeting with the two of them.
• Pekora demonstrates to Shion how to properly parachute down from the dome. Pekora screws up and hits a metal railing thing. Pekora asks Shion if she saw her totally impressive drop, but Shion answers that she was AFK during the time.
• Shion and Choco work on their base together. Adding improvements like a water catcher and working on the structure and foundation.
• Watame has been mkaing some stables/shelters for her horses.
• Pekora, Shion, and Choco partake in some late night gambling. While gambling another easter egg hunt begins. While Pekora and Shion stay behind to continue gambling Choco leaves to partake in the egg hunt. Watame wins the egg hunt with 57 eggs.
• AZKi is working on making a helicopter garage. There's already a helicopter inside ready to be used. Anya came by to ask for some food (she died earlier), and AZKi gives her a pumpkin.
• Pekora takes on the trainyard while Miko takes on the subway. They both came back alive. Riona also went to the gambling house.
• Riona got herself a car.
• Several teams and parties have been formed in-game: AZKi and Pekora; Kaela and Moona; Biboo, Calli, and Ina; Choco and Shion.

Kanade is fun. One of the few Hololivers I actually directly follow. She's a slightly more adult kusogaki, so it sometimes just catches you out when she switches to gremlin mode. Some interesting singing partners for the Live. Wasn't expecting Azki, though we know she'll show up to sing pretty much anytime someone asks. But Subaru + Noel was really unexpected.

I've always hated this anime just from reading the plot summary. "Reeeee, church bad" completely ignoring the real history that modern science was invented by Christians.
But then, the Japs have always been retarded at philosophy and theology.

Funny bit about Japan. Everyone says they're one of the least religious populations, but they actually rank just behind Nepal, I believe, in actual religious practice observations. (At least of the countries we can track.) It's just a "low" religion comparatively, which is why they'll always tend towards those stories.

Just another prime example. There are way too many power fantasy anime/manga/game with the protagonist getting op powers with the main objective being to kill god cuz 'gods are evil and oppressive.' Shit like this is godamn tiring and it's not even a clever allegory in writing anymore.

I blame Final Fantasy more than anything else for that.

The anime specifically says that it was set in the 15th century. They even actually referenced the REAL person who came up with the theory in the 16th century at the ending

I don't think the fact that Christianity contributed to modern science in the 18th century erased what the Church did in the 15-16th century
In 1600, Giordan Bruno was publicly trial and burnt alive by the church because he defended Nicolaus Copernicus's views, he was the only person known to do so in the time period. That 1600 is set 200 years after the anime's setting.

I think most of the confusion are from people mistaking what happened to Giordan with Galileo. Galileo wasn't burnt alive, only house arrested, but the church defending and executing anyone going against their ideology in the 15th century can't be proven wrong with just "modern science was invented by Christians".

It took until 1822 for the Church to actually lift the ban on Copernicus's & Galileo's books lolw, they were absolutely controlling information and banning things that went against their doctrine.

Also I think you guys are confusing "Christians priests/officials" with "the Church". For me, it's more of a "Musician - Music Label" relationship. It's like tributing all of The Beatles success to Parlophone record label because they were signed to them. And very much like Music Labels, the Church went after people who illegally distribute Galileo/Copernicus's books. They might have yelled "Heresy" instead of "Piracy" but it's practically the same thing.

We're a solid 400 years into everyone revising the history about what was really going on in Europe. Power always matters first and everything just gets taken along with that river of influence. There's a 200 year period of the Papacy vs the Holy Roman Empire that dictates so much of what was really going on. Because that was back when the "Church" was an Imperial organization first and foremost.

Bruno was a degenerate occult-loving femboy whose justification for heliocentrism was as unsound as geocentrists's justifications, who said Jesus wasn't divine or the son of God and was just a magician. No shit he ends up on the stake.

The Catholic Church only had any degree of "anti-science" in that time to the extent that they just lost half of their population to Protestantism and grew paranoid about any new ideas that were sufficiently radical, but even then they only attacked Galileo because Galileo wrote a spiteful dialogue mocking the pope as an ignoramus for not understanding the brilliance of his theories despite the Pope being only the most supportive of Galileo beforehand.

Galileo was intelligent, but also comes off like an arrogant asshole quite a lot. A quick look around the Internet and you notice that ain't new.

They're intertwined. Most anxiety issues aren't in your head. They're normally somewhere else in the body. Issues with the cardiovascular system will cause a world of neurological presentations.
