Yeah Gura's good at singing but I don't think she has ever been proven to be good at song writing.

Anyone looking to do a word by word analysis of the lyrics of Ash Again needs to take a look at the song's credits - what you're analyzing is Casey Edwards' interpretation of Gura's "discord trauma dump", not a personal message from her.....

Usually, if the talent had even tangential input on the lyrics, they get co-credited as a lyrics writer, example above, and Mori being credited as a lyricist on fucking SNEAKING after she said she couldn't change enough to save the song. This might've been entirely written by Casey with basically no input from Gura whatsoever. I choose to believe that, because that would be funnier, and why live life any other way?

It's a good point, though in this case it's still more of a "take it with a grain of salt/this is a second-hand telling" than "these aren't Gura's words/feelings."
Also, wouldn't it be fair to assume she had editorial/review rights over the lyrics?
That, or she took no part in it at all. Which would've been hilarious as fuck.
But the bigger question is then "Does Mr Edwards even know who Gura is and what vtubing is?"

So I was trying to collect and think about why I just can't get into Advent and Justice like I did Council and Myth, and frankly part of it is I just have a hard time seeing them anything more than incredibly talented entertainers. When I watched the SNOT talents, I always found something relatable with them. I just felt more of a sense of comradery in their successes than Advent/Justice who kind of feel bigger than life. I admit part of that again is I am probably just too busy in life to get intimated with them like I did with Myth/Council, but I still just don't get the same feeling.

Anyways this Gura Mumei collab feels bittersweet. I am happy it's happening again but it's the last that will ever happen, for good. I am not sure if Shachimu and Senzawa will or would ever collab.

Advent/Justice who kind of feel bigger than life.

Ironically this is what I like about Holo, normal people doing normal things is pretty boring to me.
If all vtubers were just "regular streamers with a gimmick" then I wouldn't be into vtubers at all, the higher entertainment value and ability to be characters while also being real people is what makes this industry special in my eyes.
