I can't help but feel like these 'girlfailure' gimmick 2view types are trying to emulate the early initial lightning in a bottle success someone like Pippa specifically had, but in an extremely cynical and calculating way to attempt milking maximum shekels out of an audience.

My thoughtprocess is this: by a lot of people's metrics, someone like Pippa from a few years ago would probably be considered a 'girlfail'. The stories she would tell for a couple years there - barely eating, inconsistent hygiene, antisocial, paranoia bordering on schizophrenia, extreme anxiety, difficulty making friends, ants crawling around constantly in handcam streams, moldy shit - had the effect of very easily endearing people to her, rallying behind her and rooting for her. Especially after the footstream, the industry took notice of her, and a lot of people appear to have taken the wrong lessons from it.

These 2view 'girlfailure rawr x3 so quirky and schizo BASED!!!' freaks revel in being a 'girlfailure' as a substitute for personality, making it their literal one defining trait. They cater themselves exclusively, and knowingly, to an audience of people whom maintain an eternal crabbucket mentality, and directly, explicitly, also attempt sexually appealing to them in a way that horseshoes back around to literally just being actual whores ('but they're /here/ 4chan whores so they're based!!!' - probably what their viewers would say)

What these imitators fail to realize is that a big part of Pippa's initial lightning in a bottle is that the 'girlfailure' aspect was just part of who she actually was. Genuinely, and not part as a bit, or as a main drawingpoint. It was not something that was actively seriously reveled in, she knew she had problems and she even did streams specifically regarding attempting to remedy them. Nor was it her one personality trait. One of the greatest joys I've had in my time on the entire Internet is from being a longterm fan of her and seeing her slowly, genuinely improve her life. The Pippa now is way better off than she was even just a year and a half ago (before the rekindling w/ parents). Now she has friends, now she goes outside, now she talks to people, now there's no ants or mold. It is a very satisfying thing to see unfold, and I think this is one of the huge pivots between an actual 'girlfail' like Pippa and these 'girlfailure rawr x3 so quirky and based' ones: the real ones actually want to improve their lives and don't revel in it as an actual purposeful defining eternal trait or adhere to audience crabbucketing. And something's telling me that we'll never see someone like Elfinpsyop actually go through an arc such as this. I suppose I could be wrong, I do not watch her, but literally everything I've seen from her in bulletpoints on this forum gives me the impression that she has the surfacelevel 'girlfail' aesthetic while failing to have any of the actual sincerity.

The sub to CCV ratio is screwy, looking at Biboo and Gigi they have disproportionately more live views vs their sub numbers compared to the other girls on the list. I was noticing this last night when Biboo and Calli were playing PoE2 together: watching the streams side-by-side Calli had like 2.5x the sub count but Biboo's channel had nearly 2.5x the live viewers. It's apparent that the older accounts have accumulated a huge number of dead subs.
