So Hexa went offline around September and has been sporadically posting since then. She says she's not drinking any more and has fixed her meds.

Hexa is lucky to post once a month, that's not nearly enough to be a vtweeter. However, I think that Hexa will eventually come back as a vtuber - you can't parlay your vtubing skills into many other careers, and the high of parasocialism is hard to find elsewhere. But if she didn't come back, I actually wouldn't mind. If being offline helps her mental health, helps her quit drinking and allows her to be on medication that works for her, that's far more important than being an anime girl on the internet.
