Outside of a hypothetical situation happening where someone being criticised on the forum signed up to give their side of the story (which, while probably unwise, would be better received than Twitter alt seething and out-of-context Discord chatlogs) I mostly agree.

Some vtubers will tolerate us on principle because they respect people's right to say what they want (which is admirable), and they might occasionally engage with our in-jokes if they find them funny (thhrang x Reticule OTP), but realistically they have no reason to actually like us. There are things here that will quite understandably rub them the wrong way; they aren't going to appreciate us digging through their social media profiles for gossip, and they certainly won't appreciate us screencapping posts where they're upset about something and going "lol, woman moment". If they're trying to get super chummy with us, they probably have a reason.

As a Holochad godking I will personally bully any indie who comes in here into submission by replying with the most lethal weapon known to Vtuber-kind...

I know this can come off as a gross icky Incel talking point so I'll try and make it not icky.

Bad Actors do not like being held accountable.

They tolerate /vt/ because you have to do the equivalent of dumpster diving to dig up their graveyard of skeletons from visibly anonymous sources which can be hand-waived. We're able to categorize threads with archives and say "this is what they did". Which is bad. I'd compare us being more like Recycling Bin diving for shredded paper rather than dumpster diving imo. More sanitary and less of a headache.
I also don't openly trust vtubers that are really eager to interact with us openly due to this. We've seen with Hexa that they seem to think if they're gonna buddy up with us we'll never hold them to the same level of accountability.

Saying we're rummaging paper bins to uncover things they tried to throw away is disingenuous when an easy half the time it's more like they have a huge corkboard posted up in the common room filled with pictures and post-its of their weird debauchery and shenanigans and we just take a picture of it on our phones after walking past and doing a doubletake like "What the fuck!?"

When they actively try to cover shit up, yes, that's when we're dumping recycling bins looking for pitched papers but an easy majority of the time it's just sitting there to be seen by everyone and we're just the ones that have actually seen it and call attention to something that was never hidden but everyone's just blindly passed by without noticing, and once we point it out they're scrabbling at the corkboard to hide their shit after the fact because "stop noticing things!".

I burst out laughing so hard I had to clean some juice off my desk.

Hadn't watched her much recently. She's one of those vtubers who is fantastic at zatzudan style content but then spends a dozen streams in a row staring near-mutely at the screen while playing a game for five hours a day. Probably has something to do with the enormous doses of antidepressants she says she's on. Anyway, ultimately just means I'm one subscription richer than I was before. Would've spent it on GenesisPrism, but I managed to get two months of gift subs back to back on her channel.

I think this would happen eventually with Miru or Soy. Soy community is partially immature, dare I say childish for a handful of regulars, which makes it really hard to start or stop some topics, but she got better at wrangling the kindergartners.
In Miru's case she's the traditional menhera, I don't think she's a bad person in herself but she got that white devil disease of being entitled of her being, which numbs having an objective view on things and makes the patient skip steps straight to passing judgement. I'm watching her less and less too after she went on a rant on stream throwing shade about numbers and then menheraing later offcam.
Good luck to her and I don't think she needs to accept you, me, or anyone in her community, just wish she dealt with it in a more objective manner instead of screaming DOXXXXXXXXXXXING to the void.

Having a model and streaming to 5 people doesn't automatically make them wiser or more capable. In fact if you have any kind of college degree and stable career you are probably leagues above any of them, heck, having a high dose of common sense probably makes you superior.

To be fair with Hexa, she got great streams when she wasn't drunk or drugged, but after noticing Megu and other people cut her off and she herself stopped mentioning them on zatsu I got an eerie feeling and took distance. Proctor heavy hands episode just cemented my suspicions and the worst part wasn't that she got exposed or called out, it was that she never acknowledged her mistakes neither reached out to people before Bossman exploded. Exemplary e-thot behavior that gets everything for free and doesn't notice how shit she is to others, with a head inside her ass as the center of universe.
