Users who would like to be able to add to the Threadmark system (as in Threadmark any post in a thread) should @ me in the Forum Discussion thread or send me a DM. I will be assigning these privelges individually to those who request it.
Any content that does not fall into any of the above categories can be discussed in the General Thread as usual. Users are now allowed to create new threads on companies and individual vtubers if they so desire, which can be approved by moderators.
Apparently Rima Evenstar was watching the video on stream and V&U took it down as she was watching. Which, regardless of what you think of Rima or even dramatubers in general, was a terrible optics move.
Spectra's especially retarded for being a smug cunt about it in that tweet. If she'd said nothing I'd have assumed it was entirely the management being petty, but she just had to implicate herself.
If you have to run and hide from criticism, even if you try to act like you're owning the dramafags somehow, you're a pathetic, embarrassing little bitch.

Criticism? What criticism can anyone have about a graduation announcement? Better question, Rima couldn't just talk about it without streaming Spectra's video?

I know exactly what you mean. To think Spectra could've avoided all of this just by titling the stream 'FOR JULIE'S EYES ONLY'. Then everyone else would know it's not for them and wouldn't look at it. Women, eh.

sure, they have the right to do it because it's their video, but it is incredibly poor optics if they want people to side with them! if you come out looking worse in a situation than a dramatuber, you are doing something horrendously wrong!

Discussion of how things have been handled? There's plenty to talk about, potentially things said in the video to pick apart.
It's transformative content, it has a right to exist, so shooting it down and going "haha, gottem!" is a terrible look - especially for a streamer, since a not-insignificant part of streaming over the years has been built entirely on transformative content's right to exist.
Their request for "no reproducing" does not trump YouTube and America's Fair Use laws which Rima would fall under assuming she was giving substantive commentary.
Mint was a massive vtuber simp in general prior to becoming a streamer. She applied to Hololive (presumably EN) before even having any streaming experience and got rejected. She then debuted as Mint a few months later, presumably to see if she really wanted to be a streamer before applying anywhere else.

YouTube allows copyright holders to take down even content that is legal fair use. The law doesn't oblige them to keep hosting videos if they don't want to.

- Shows they have something to hide.
- Shows they aren't confident enough for their content to stand up to scrutiny.
- Shows they are actively watching places their content might be reviewed.
- Shows they are thin-skinned enough to lash out in stupid, content-producing ways over things that had zero tangible effect on them.
- Shows they care more about snubbing news/reaction/drama channels than informing fans who might be late to the discovery.
- Etc etc.
Quick edit: Also, even if that video is unprivated, unless she had some kind of visual chat record like my streams do, then her stream chat is gone forever.
When the talents are openly taunting a drama channel that is covering them, they are continuing the drama cycle themselves. They had no obligation to acknowledge Rima's stream in any way; they decided to do that of their own accord. This chick who is asking people not to engage with drama surrounding the graduations has literally retweeted a drama post herself.
