Did we memoryhole the fact Valve sent tf2 classic a DMCA notice years ago? Admittedly for a decently understandable reason (they were using leaked source code at the time).

Also, letting mod devs add their source game mods onto the steam store isn't new plus this doesn't help the fact tf2 is literally still in the half-way broken state it's been in since Meet Your Match. Valve has to actually fix their game and not just farm brownie points.

they were using the leaked code i mean fuck DMCA's but at least it was warranted. its not new hunt down the freeman exists somehow but ill still praise them for it.

Meet your match is a shit update yes but it's not the problem that needed fixing. They did made the game worse yes but the game still functions fine even with the worse system. They did however manage the bot problem and unless there's been a resurgence I'm not aware of that's all most people want and now we also have the mostly superior TF2 Classic.
