Then that "special evidence" could end up being porn the fucker made while in that country with zero warning on the email about what its contents were.
Most German publishers, instead of leaving the last page blank or printing copyright information, print a disclaimer on how to read manga in every volume, even if it's the 34th in a series. Always thought that was a pretty nifty use of space that is normally left blank and it avoids complete newbies picking up a book and being confused. (Picture is from an e-book, but the concept is the same)

As far as I know, since I haven't read manga in probably over a decade, most English publishers do as well. Dug a few old ones out I have in a box to verify, and almost all have a page like this. The only one that didn't seem to have it is my hardback copy of the Uzumaki series.
from a quick look through my collection it depends more on the publisher. all Carlsen ones like OP have the Halt even 20 years ago. others variation of "stop"
It does depend on the publisher. Most have some kind of default page, but some like Carlson (the ones who do One Piece among others) customize them a bit more.
