Two points about this: first, if Pippa decided to make her own PC, she'd have to wait for all the parts to ship to her. I'm not sure what shipping is like in the US, but I'm guessing that could be up to a week without streaming, and a week of lost income isn't a small sum for Pippa.

It breaking wouldent be a yearly occurrence if she built it herself, and she'd be able to A. figure out what's wrong with it, and B. know how long it would take to replace. I doubt whatever is wrong with it atm is not something she couldn't fix by going to a shop and picking up a part or two if she had the knowhow and took the time to learn for the future. The issue is that she takes the path of least resistance even though that ends up biting her in the ass not long after.

Because you're ignoring the fact that everyone told her this would happen last year and instead of biting the bullet then and there and just picking up a laptop and taking the time to either build her own from scratch or pay someone who knows what they are doing to do it like Sleepy, she bought another pre-build for a bloated price cause it's the easier and faster of the two choices. Now when its time to reap what she sowed she's ready to do it all again despite the better option being simple to do according to her



She does, she has a laptop for exactly that reason and again just lost the cable to it somehow.

TLDR: Everyone knew it would happen, she's said building them is easy herself, and she's had a few months to order parts. I stand by my statement that it was her taking the path of least resistance again but she's said she's going to look into just building one herself for the future, so I'll withhold any actual complaints cause I'm more than willing to give her time if she's going to do things properly this time.
