It's a well known phenomenon where liberals try to write their political opponents as evil but accidentally make them super based. Punisher is one of the most notorious examples because they kept trying to stop people from liking him but made people like him more.
For some reason every gross or disturbing part in season 4 goes on about 10x too long. It maybe would have been funny if it was brief but they really dragged it out and it felt like filler.
It would have been cheesy, but imagine if something like the Boys with its premise was written in the early 90s and starred Jean Claude Van Damme as the Butcher. With early 90s cheese writing
