At least Nerissa's family likes her cooking a lot. Especially her dad. Being able to make big portions of something without wasting too much time to feed everyone is a good skill for a future wife, even if it's not anything outstanding

Feels like this is the norm now. I know so many women who just order takeout, or their husbands cook. We have one lady at work whose husband drops her off a home-cooked lunch every day. And the proportion of men interested in cooking has only gone up. At least that's how it is in NA these days.

I left food service because I didn't want to be a kitchen bitch anymore and it followed me home anyway.
