Reality (then WFLE) was very much in the business of making vtubers through collaborations with other companies instead of just doing it themselves, it was probably more profitable as all of these chuubas ended up streaming on their app which would theoretically bring in more people.
I did leave out 2 potential vtubers from that era for different reasons. One is Hazuki Natsu, which several sources claim was associated with Reality but I can't find any evidence of that and the other is DJ Rio, which while she was a vtuber technically associated with the company, I quickly discovered that it was little more than Reality's fucking CEO playing around with a female avatar and pretending to be a sexy foxgirl DJ, in fact the dude STILL uses the twitter account to post to this day, which is extra funny because he doesn't even stream or make videos anymore, he just posts normal CEO shit like metaverse trash or updates to his shitty app.

artist JiziIzumi offered them a model so long as they slapped project onto their usernames
Wasn't really a group as much as it was just a shared artist, it wasn't formal nor did it have any cohesion. Rye was one of them and she basically had nothing to do with the other two. My requirements for adding groups can be found in the OP.
Other artist groups I have included like PlivYou had a logo, Twitter account, staff and actual debuts and graduations. The _project girls just have a shared handle and artist.
I want to clarify that I am not opposed to new or missing info, I simply cannot add ALL the available info, some things I elected to cut because they simply do not have a strong enough reason to occupy space/add complexity to the chart. Cataloging additional tid-bits is better done with a wiki. Many of which already exist and do that job perfectly well.
I also work in a very... common law-ish way, if any one chart gets a new bit of info that is of a certain type or significance, then that to me sets precedent for ALL other charts to also get everything that is equivalent which I have previously omitted. This is the reason I elected to do something like cutting out HoloEarth from the Holo chart, since it was basically a game/metaverse platform, that would justify adding all of the other games/metaverse platforms from Brave and Gree and who knows what else in the future.
I debated on tying ember to Kallin because that would mean any other time a vtuber rebrands that justifies adding it, which would then open me up for dozens of hours researching extraneous past identities which is the very reason I banned PL, but I judged it a rare enough case to still add it.
It may seem silly but it comes from a simple desire to not take the easy way out, it would be very easy to fill the EN-centric charts with all kinds of info but have barebones documentation when it comes to very minor or foreign companies, I think that is bullshit, I want all aspects no matter their popularity to have equal representation and detail, and if that means some minor details of very well known agencies get cut then so be it.

Been away for like a week, but it's mostly because my life has become somewhat hectic and I haven't had a ton of drive to do charts. But I am still grinding at the Niji format revision and update:

I'm also gonna take the plunge and just actually divide Niji's main branch into historical sections with a little text blurb for each, having a big lump with no explanation never sat right with me even if I have to invent a Niji-specific 4.5th tier which no other chart will use because they don't have these drastic jumps in debut strategy combined with "there's no distinct generations except when there is fuck you"
Brave v.3 may be the most complex chart I've ever attempted, but Niji beats it in sheer annoyance and uncertainty.

Arguably, Dizzy's rebranding would count as well, since (similarly to Ember/Kallin) she also reused social accounts that were previously for Urara, openly acknowledged she was Urara and even used Urara's model in a skit as Dizzy. I'm guessing you didn't include her because Urara wasn't a "talent" of Tsunderia?
Kitbash already told me this and I will consider it, though I don't like how unspecific it is and what kind of doors it opens if I say yes to both. Staff cannot be allowed by any means, that is a can of worms and nebulous bullshit I don't even want to touch, so if Urara is added then I need to establish a clear "this is what justifies it" threshold that makes so that other managers that have models, and have appeared on stream and have done streams on their own can't be included.
As for the rebranding I allowed Kallin under super specific circumstances, I will have to check and (ugh) subjectively decide if Urara's case has enough justification or if it just falls under "open secret" like let's say Punkalopi = Enya Ignis.
I have finally finished updating Niji's main branch and I must say, even from february of this year I have improved a lot in making these things, while not perfect, I think this version does a much better job at visualizing Nijisanji not only through overall talent headcount but also its eras and various debut strategy changes, which unlike many other agencies which just shit out talents in a similar way for their whole existence or just make new properties when they wanna change course, is crucial to understand Niji imo.

These charts are not actually "org charts" aka organizational charts.
This is an organizational chart:
What mine most resemble is actually modified Euler diagrams:
Which are a close cousin of the vastly more known Venn diagram. Though mine notably do not overlap (because that's messy) and they also have some aspects of treemap charts
and other such methods of presenting info.
The name "Orgchart" simply came as a simple, easy to understand misnomer. It's a lot catchier than "Vtuber Euler diagrams" for sure.
My original inspiration (at the time of making brave v.2 and changing the format to the now iconic squares within squares) was CGPgrey, a perennial science educator channel on youtube, whom I have been an avid watcher of since the early 2010s, specifically the charts he did on the UK, the netherlands and the European union.
This change was, as stated before, primarily because I wanted a format which allowed more verticality, which the arrow connections I was using before wouldn't have allowed without looking hideous. Also grey, with his eternal love for efficient design, made euler diagrams look snazzy and clean as fuck, something which I have slowly corrupted into messiness with my insistence on cramming ever more complicated company activities into simple squares.

I thought they were org charts because they were charts about organizations, not organizational charts.

That was the idea when the name popped into my head but I am 99% sure I had heard the name before and it strictly refers to company employee hierarchies, it's just a very catchy and intuitive name which I used incorrectly.

Brave did it again and delayed the Niji chart for the third time in a row, they posted some notice about Rionection that really got me thinking about affiliates and how their presentation is inconsistent.
Rionection is omitted in the brave chart but things like VirtuaReal Link and Nijisanji Network are included in the Niji chart, despite both being affiliate programs. So obviously this led me to alter the format AGAIN and design new standards for affiliates. In my mind, affiliates are not proper members, aka they do not stand in a position of subservience or lower order to the corpo they are tied to like normal corpo chuubas, instead the IP, rights and most decisions on activities remain with the talent, because they are essentially independent.
Affiliates are instead in an equal position with the company they're tied to, so realistically they shouldn't go inside of the square like before but instead outside because they don't really belong to the corpo. Of course it is obvious that affiliation with a corpo is not a yes-no binary, but instead lies on a spectrum where certain rights and obligations will fall onto the talent or the company, and the balance of power will shift depending on the agreements said talents have with the company.
And of course this led me to the hellish process of figuring out how VirtuaReal should be presented, since they have:
1. Independent talents affiliated with VR Link
2. Independent talents affiliated with VR Link who were chosen via a Bilibili singing contest
3. Talents created via business deals with other companies affiliated with VR Link
4. Talents belonging to Bilibili who joined VR Link
5. Talents belonging to Bilibili who were then transferred to VR who joined VR Link
6. An independent talent which joined VR Link but was then mysteriously transferred to VR
7. Independent non-vtuber content creators which were given Vtuber avatars affiliated with VR Star
The only word I can use is FUCK
