It makes more sense to me and color coding would be cool. Lunlun technically was not a VTA grad as they had a Mascot audition. I am sure some of the others might not be from VTA either but I am not scuddle

The VTA grads are the ones with inverse blue triangle, arrows was just too messy. But these new gens are distinguished by: 1. Having original songs on debut, 2. having official names, 3. always having 3 or more members 4. including VTA graduatesIt makes more sense to me and color coding would be cool. They pretty much just Niji's way to trying the 'supporting indie vtubers' route. I assume that they have indie vtubers who are interested to contact them and then if they are eligible they get into it. Didn't really take off and was only there from May to December 2019.QUESTION FOR NIJIFRIENDS: What the fuck was Nijisanji Network? What I'm getting from looking around it seems to have been some kind of program? Second question is, were the ex-members indies originally or did Niji debut them? I know they're indies now but haven't been able to find definitive proof they were originally.
I have been looking into BAN, is that a legit corpo or just an informal group? They pretty much just Niji's way to trying the 'supporting indie vtubers' route. The two members of it, Tenkai Tsukasa and Fairys-chan are pretty much already an indie vtuber before they get into that network thingie (Tenkai debuted on June 2018* and Fairys-chan debuted on March 2018) which in hindsight made it look like the whole 'invader'-style debuts, albeit done in pre-2020 times and the whole thing is still shaky and everyone have no clue what they were doing.
I don't think most nijifriends these days have any clue how it all worked out, so yeah, lets just assume NijiNetwork is them doing the hipster 'we did phase-invader before it was cool and we fucked that up' kind of thing.
*:Tenkai's history is a bit complicated. Yes he debuted on Juje 2018, but he was already a vtuber before that. His vtuber wiki page pretty much hinted that before he became Tenkai, he was a vtuber who uses copyrighted character as his avatar (Ittou Kaiji from manga Kaiji) with unknown debut date but evidently has been around during golden age of vtubing (kizuna still around, less emphasis on streaming, live2d still a new-ish thing). That previous persona was also in the know with Fairys-chan (as in part of associated "BAN" group of vtubers with copyrighted character and/or behavior that was seen as bad back in the day including being openly lewd), making the two being part of NijiNetwork a rather interesting coincidence.
Informal group, pretty much. They do have a centralized twitter account, but for the most part they are informal group of JP vtubers who either uses copyrighted characters as avatar (either straight up or just 'fan-art of said copyright character'), being lewd (in a vtuber era where it was still frowned upon) or in one case, having too much edgy lore with north korean missiles and shit (aka schizo lore)I have been looking into BAN, is that a legit corpo or just an informal group?
Yeah dem days be crazy. If it's only an informal group then I won't add any reference to it. Saves me some fiddling with the already weird circumstances around Niji Network. Next up I'll be doing VTA and then Shanghai/Taipei.Informal group, pretty much. It's a bit hard to understand it, but it was back during the early days of vtubing so its kinda expected.
I am assuming you won't be putting yumenographia - https://x.com/yumenographia?lang=en - in the chart as well.Yeah dem days be crazy. I meant to ask about that. Did yumenografia have vtubers in it? If so then I'll be adding it for sure, if not then I have to think about it since dead projects are something that I've been omitting.I am assuming you won't be putting yumenographia - https://x.com/yumenographia?lang=en - in the chart as well.
I almost want a medal for Roa and Kataribe for longest time not streaming. Good luck finishing before more people graduate!

I belive Nasa from Phase was one of these girls as well. Kureya Pei was my guess in the not thread.
I would put it as similar to the Niji Network so I think it would be extra credit
All the characters are listed in the link to danbooru. https://danbooru.donmai.us/wiki_pages/yumenographiaIdc who they became after, I'm not doing reincarnations, I'm just asking if the service had actual characters who were chuubas.
Many thanks. All the characters are listed in the link to danbooru. https://danbooru.donmai.us/wiki_pages/yumenographia
It was a hostess style virtual service. I think they are chuubas. Mentioning Nasa is just suggesting that the talents also thought they were chuubas.
Related to this, been reading on VTA and I wanna confirm that it is also under anycolor and not Nijisanji Project? Many thanks.
Oh so it was directly under anycolor, not under Nijisanji project.
FYI They weren't vtubers it was a VR hostess club.It was a hostess style virtual service. I think they are chuubas.
We're talking like VTA Batches as in the 20 or some people that enter VTA before moving onto Nijisanji (or anywhere else) official or generations like Ranunculus?@Saturnus
Since you've been pretty good with answering shit I'll bother you with this. Should VTA batches be treated as generations or should they get the same treatment as the main branch and just be semi-official?
The people who entered VTA and never left it, the generations made up of VTA graduates are within Niji main branch. We're talking like VTA Batches as in the 20 or some people that enter VTA before moving onto Nijisanji (or anywhere else) official or generations like Ranunculus?
