Dispatch demo for PC now available

A demo for superhero workplace comedy game Dispatch is now available for PC via Steam, developer AdHoc Studio announced.

dude the hired voice actors have no control over the script. how does the voice cast equate to anything more then maybe a shit performance.

i get the majority of you yamenba hate English VA for some reason but at least pretend to not have a bias bigger then your catalogue of slurs.

here's a better indication of the games quality. Punch Up is a really REALLY stupid name for a ex supervillian even if you know hes supposed to be a Comedian (watchmen) Parody.

Yeah and? I don't care about retarded twitter bullshit as long as they do their job this is not Sweet Baby.This is not hiring a shitty company to make sure your game is ethnically diverse.

Amusingly "Blonde Blazer" is the only character I see trying to be politically correct and I'm pretty sure she's gonna be revealed as a Stormfront wannabe like seriously the first thing she points out to the main guy is obvious alien coworker is from another galaxy or how she has to rack her brain to remember where the indian guy with super hearing is from (which she says out loud in clear earshot of people with normal hearing)

The actual voice work is fine no complaints. The Writing is similar to Tales or walking dead or wolf among us which they refuse to let you forget (i mean fair)

Demo is as usual way too short so I'm not even sure if i like the main loop of the game and nothing hooked me.

So, after looking into it a little bit, it's being touted as a spiritual successor to Telltale games. The only Telltale games I ever bought were Strong Bad's Cool Games for Attractive People and a used copy of Sam & Max for the Wii. Ah, the heady days of 2007-2008, how I miss them! Still nostalgia for the ought's isn't going to translate to nostalgia for Telltale for me. (It would be great if any company would release a new Homestar Runner game though, as long as it is decent.)

Yeah this reeks of a fan actually doing something with Classic Offensive against the tos or something. I get the feeling he isn’t telling the whole truth.

If this is the case, I'm assuming they have a similar issue that TF2C did where someone got a hold of leaked source code for CSGO (in this scenario) and used it to make this mod.

I wouldn't even mind the bias of the NA voice actor cliques if they were actually competent, good work covers a lot of sins, but the majority of them just aren't. Not only do I have to deal with the knowledge that they're all a pack of retards, but I'm having to put up with the same people churning out the same mediocre, wooden performances game after game.
I used to think it was literally just an English VA thing where they'd never been taken seriously and never got the chance to catch up to the level seen in other languages, but no, games and other media seem to be catching on to this fact themselves and hiring from alternative sources (British radio actors and so on) has resulted in a lot of absolutely stellar EN voice work. So I don't care to have any good will for those people at all.
