Good news, a new Gundam SD tactics game released recently! Bad news, it's gacha slop, which means it'll shut down in 2-3 years like every other Gundam mobile game:
I've been playing it myself these past few days, and I like it! It fills the void that Cross Rays left, and that was six years ago!
...I just wish that it was a single-player game like Cross Rays, because any money spent on it is set on fire with the inevitable EOS 2-3 years down the line, unless it somehow becomes one of the top performing gacha games (it won't).
Much like Wizardry: Variants Daphne, if you feel like spending any substantial amount of money on the game, buy any of these full-priced Gundam games instead, such as the previous SD Gundam tactics game:
Coming up in a few weeks is a Gundam SEED game that was never localized, straight from the Vita, so be sure to show your support if you want to see other Gundam games brought over, no matter how many decades have passed! That, and the bigwigs at Bandai might have the brain worms that the West doesn't want Gundam games anymore if it doesn't sell enough. It's happened before, it could happen again! This is how I was tricked into buying New Gundam Breaker years before Gundam Breaker 4's announcement!
Speaking of Gundam Breaker 4, it's still a good Gundam game, even if the devs are dropping the ball on post-launch support. It's better than New Gundam Breaker, and that's what matters! I just wish they made it as good as Gundam Breaker 3!
Super Robot Wars is preaching to the choir at this point, but I'm still posting them here for easy access, and as a reminder that SRW Y is coming up in a few months:
And, as always, my regular shilling of Megaton Musashi W: Wired, because Level-5 won't do it themselves! I will never not be salty about this, please play the game if you're even remotely interested in Super Robot franchises! They still won't update their steam news page with all of their in-game campaigns, which will make prospective players think "dead game", I'm going to tear my hair out:
