Ok so i gave the game about 2ish hours.
it's overwatch if it was reverted back to a fun season.
there are some jank bullshit like some roofs are clearly not intended to be something you can walk on spidermans swing letting you go apeshit or nowhere depending on how he feels at the moment and while spiderman has a actual wall crawl characters like peni parker just run into the wall and slowly levitate upwards sometimes.
Combat needs to be slowed down personally i would at least like to know the hell is killing me
it is very hard to tell how to optimize your damage with some characters and characters like punisher have shit in their kit that doesint seem to actually contribute to it at all (the limp smoke grenade and why use the machinegun when i could just spawn the mega turret)

More thoughts on Marvel Rivals:
-Hela is hilariously incomplete and there's certain parts of some maps where you can't hit anyone on the objective with her ult
-Black Panther is a monster if played well, just constant resetting of his dash while gaining HP
-Peni Parker is obnoxious on defense
-Groot is such a cunt if they know what they are doing, especially tight corridor maps, every doorway becomes a deathtrap because he can just put you out of position
-Loki is mid
-Scarlet Witch is top tier cancer, fucking Moira but her drain melts tanks and she has a Dva ult, please just delete this no skill bullshit character
-Yggsdrasil maps are mostly alright, Tokyo and Hydra maps are peak, Wakanda maps are a mix, but the Klyntar map is so fucking trash
-The monetization is just what you'd expect from a NetEase game

After like 3-4 netease games that I played growing up I'm more than inclined to call them a slur by instinct if I see them in my app stores
At least none of the heroes are locked by monetization, it's just everything else from skins, sprays, emotes, MVP screens, etc. Can't even change your profile picture without using the premium currency and the missions for the premium currency are far and few between. There's no "level up, here's a lootbox" shit like Overwatch.
Just enjoying the game for now as it's "pre-shit" Overwatch essentially. I expect them to eventually release new heroes at a premium cost for early access and make games unbearable as said new heroes intentionally overtuned, the good old Riot special.

It kinda feels like they looked at common complaints about OW2 and just did the opposite of whatever Blizzard was doing - so you end up with 6v6, more balanced roles, fewer bullshit kill denying abilities, all characters unlocked, etc. I'm an extreme Marvel tourist but it's been very fun so far.
keep in mind witch has a 20% buff to damage this "season" she's not usually an effective assassin and since her attack ticks damage constantly it's actually out damaging her supposed damage ability.
All tanks are obnoxious on defense. kill her nest then her.
Hela is also able to just outright kill alot of characters with two hits.
Mantis Spiderman and Ironman i find much more annoying.
Mantis theoretically has resources to manage but only Thor seems to actually have to keep track of them. amazing heals and buff. and her attack hits like an attacker not a support.
Spiderman the only character in this game that id consider having ability synergy >.> Right Click E then the Uppercut (f) instant death for alot of things. takes skill tho or at least more then alot of others.
Ironman seems to be the best "fly out of range and continue doing stupid damage" champion maybe tied with Starlord. i only give it to tony because the team up gamma damage boost seems to stack with his armor override.
EDIT: While we don't actually know the deal with the seasonal buffs to champions is for most people ive talked to (and i agree) seem to attribute it to testing how champions perform with improved parameter's temporarily.
Edit 2: last one i promise. You want really obnoxious. enter a match with thor hit shift realize you basically get 100 shields every press never use his thorforce for anything else become immortal but your already a god so put the fear of you into them.

Beat Holocure stage 4 hard with Zeta and max Marketing. Felt like luck of the draw, though. Zeta needs a near complete ability rework IMO, very little reward for working with her kit and her abilities have very little synergy. If you don't get Focus Glasses and Idol Costume early you are fucked beyond all recovery with her.
