Everyone here talking about some fucking simile game or whatever and I'm just wondering how the fuck I get through these two sealed doors left in the Castlevania DLC for Vampire Survivors.
one of them opens after you beat metaphor refantazio.Everyone here talking about some fucking simile game or whatever and I'm just wondering how the fuck I get through these two sealed doors left in the Castlevania DLC for Vampire Survivors.
The time has come once more. The Grizzly marshals its forces against the kingdoms of man.
Its the OOH RACISM of older JRPGs, reasonable and hopeful, without being so preachy; you want to genocide some knife-ears. Despite my heavy Yakuza and FromSoft bias, Metaphor is my game of the year. It was refreshing to play a Persona that wasn't Persona.Metaphor reaches a level of really good that makes me want to play it while I'm working instead just thinking it's okay. I don't think this will reach anyone's Top 5 rpgs but there's heart and effort clearly put into it. I'm only 40 hours in so far but I've enjoyed myself immensely.
-The worldbuilding is a little generic having OOH RACISM and classism typical of medieval settings but as usual Persona type games are focused more on characters and the characters you do get ooze personality. I like Strohl a lot more than the typical brodude companion you get like Yosuke, Junpei or Ryuji. He's hopeful and optimistic but not in a lmao friendship can do anything sort of way.
-Press Turn I still believe is the superior atlus rpg system. One more is way too easy to exploit and as much as I love visuals of all-outs it just makes the game way too easy. Definitely made a better decision with just outright clearing mobs instead of wasting more time getting in and out of combat for shit rewards.
-The Archetype system is interesting because it makes it easier for the dev team to create challenging content since you can't have infinite team combinations AND the amount of skills you can have at one time is limited since the MC can't equip 10 different skill sets making you actually care about who else you're bringing instead of just having the silent protagonist carry everyone on his fucking back. Unfortunately you'll probably feel a little restricted in terms of choice for the first 15 hours but after you beat the.....3rd?(does the tutorial one with strohl count?) story dungeon you will have enough archetypes to mix and match to your hearts desire.
-art direction good. I really enjoy this painted effect they have for all the character portraits it's especially noticeable on Brigitta(merchant companion) and it looks amazing. Visuals are fantastical and beautiful even if I question the physics of gauntlet runners being the superior transportation option.
-music is Shoji Meguro. That's all that really needs to be said.
Man I'm gonna go play more Metaphor after writing this review.
Judging from the video, glad I didn't buy the remake. All I would have wanted tbh is better survivor pathing, the infinity mode suspend would be a good addition, and the otis radio achievement is the bane of me. The only voice actor from the vid I thought sounded alright was Isabella's also....Crowbcat uploaded a new video
better question. why does fantasy evilland have enough dumbass bored people to create whole new genders for themselves.
Yes, that character in particular is INCREDIBLY awful because they had some retarded nonbinary actress play them. There's a lot of shoddy work, not just for being woke, but just poor production. Like the random constant ringing music during companion conversations, the really weird camera work for some cutscenes, and all sorts of other weird shit.I'm more surprised by the voice actor and delivery. Is that how it sounds in game, because it's not fitting at all. For a split second, it felt like I was back in the aughts watching an anime abridged dub, but with a much better mic
Sounds like par for the course with Bioware, to be honest. All their 3D games, even in their prime, were really jank. It only got worse when they went Frostbite and as all their veterans quit.Yes, that character in particular is INCREDIBLY awful because they had some retarded nonbinary actress play them. At this point EN voice acting genuinely feels like you have to hire theatre actors to either go as hard as they humanly can, or ham that bitch up, or else you just get entire games of monotone, resting bitch voice characters who couldn't VA their way out of a 2006 Japanese baseball simulator dub.I'm more surprised by the voice actor and delivery. Early as when David Gaider said that "We don't make games for you anymore" not too long after DA2 tbh. (Basically saying that he was writing for da gayz in regards to romances). Are grifters mad just now at Bioware?
Even back in Andromeda you could see the direction the wind was blowing.
Shocking news, I know, but 90% of them don't actually play videogames, or remember anything that happened before around 2020.Are grifters mad just now at Bioware?

My favorite part about the Andromeda shitshow is when people started to widely treat the female player character as autistic because of how autistic she was in conversations due to the shitty facial animations.Shocking news, I know, but 90% of them don't actually play videogames, or remember anything that happened before around 2020.
Oh yeah, also Andromeda was mostly a bad videogame with some (for today's standards, light) politisperging, and they don't care whether games are actually bad or not, they just want to politisperg at other politispergs.
