"The doctor suspected stomach bacteria, to figure that out he needed me to shit in a cup. So I have to go to the hospital for a bunch of stuff, but also to drop off a cup of shit. I took a bunch of laxatives that day, I drank a coffee, I drank some aloe vera juice, I ate some spinach, had some orange juice, long story short, I shat my soul out later that day. The worst part was I had to scoop the mousse au chocolat into this fucking cup. It was so moussie, and chunky. The medicine I am taking, it seems to help. The first night was still rough, but this night, I feel great. I feel very gassy. Hopefully whatever it is the medicines are working well against that, and now we just hope and preygge (Pray) that when I call on Monday they didn't find anything else that's suspicious."Shylily

Anyone here finished (or gotten decently far in) Metaphor? Is it as banging as everyone is saying?

I want to get through P3R, which conveniently just stopped starting on my PC with no error message at all, before I start with Metaphor. But everybody's saying it's peak so I'm wavering, especially with the aforementioned P3R issues. Although, not going to lie, the revelation that you can't fuck your companions dampened the excitement somewhat, as retarded as that sounds.
If you like press turn, yes it's pretty good. The writing is good and all the characters are amazing, in both personality, depth and design. There is not a single unfuckable woman (and man) in that game, which is very weird because they removed the romance mechanic while keeping a bonding system.

I didn't trust ATLUS with it but I was wrong, you just need to remove the shackle named Persona:

Its great. If you like Persona for everything else besides fucking a girl, you will like Metaphor. Also, its actually harder than a nuPersona game but with the Persona visual and audio charm SMT lacks.

Released by the Harris campaign for a children's game, and the trailer uploaded on IGN. There's also no guns allowed on this because of course.

I'm sure all those 8-year-olds will be flossing and dabbing their way to the polls on election day because of this.

And at only a few hundred concurrent players at most on this map at any given time, it seems to be going as well as expected...

I'm sure there were a bunch of retarded activists responsible for the mess that was Concord, and Sony has been getting into DEI shit lately too. The management of Firewalk Studios should have looked at the game when it was being developed and asked why they hadn't put a single attractive woman into the game, and if they didn't, Sony executives overseeing the game should have, especially when they're investing hundreds of millions of dollars into what's meant to be a tentpole Sony game. If they did, at worst it would have been an unremarkable game in a saturated genre, but people would have paid to play it at least. It wouldn't have been a complete flop like Concord was.

It's disgusting how insulated from failure these people are. If I was responsible for losing tens of thousands of dollars of my employer's money, I'd be sacked and would have to look for a job in another industry entirely. These people are responsible for the loss of hundreds of millions of dollars and they're just going to get shuffled over to another studio or hired elsewhere.

Along with what everyone else in the thread has said my elitist Megaten friend has given this a recommendation to me (I've yet to purchase Metaphor, kinda busy right now and can't get too deep into a jrpg yet). Something about how "this is the best game Atlus has cooked in years". I personally was initially disposed to Metaphor because I don't like Meguro's more orchestral work. But I'm wrong and from what I've played of the demo the ost fits and is pretty good.

I heavily enjoyed P3R (I'll admit not playing FES, I started at PS2 P4), Unicorn Overlord, Yakuza 8, and Metaphor this year. The only Sega/Atlus JRPG from this year I disliked was SMT5 Vengeance. Jesus the bland visuals and DRONING soundtrack made me drop the game 12 hours in, I could not stand it anymore.

That's what happened with Forspoken. People cheered when the studio got shutdown but they didn't read the rest of the announcement where it stated that those retarded devs are going to be folded into other studios at the company, spreading their rot even further.

The worst part is that when these fucks cause colossal losses of money like Concord, you have industry fucks cheering them on.

Steam Scream Fest is live, a sale on horror games aplenty

The true horror of Halloween is getting deep vein thrombosis in the middle of a 1500 mile truck journey (only if you buy the DLC)

The cancer will spread, thus hastening the death of the industry?

God, I love this news even more.

Red Dead Redemption 1 and Undead Nightmare has finally hit Steam, but lacks multiplayer and is rather pricey for an old game. Other than that, it appears to be a solid port, at least we didn't get another Definitive Edition scenario.

shit is already cracked. If you're lazy like me skidrowreloaded.com uploads the torrents and so far no malware.

It's a given they will end up in another studio. Nigga the whole industry has turbo aids, you won't get anything decent in the next 10 years because the whole structure is pozzed from the janitor to the software engineers. Knowing the suits they're gonna purge most westerners and they're gonna start shipping most of the dev work to india. They already do half of it and the "educated" westerners produce the same quality of work. Having a full pajeet crew working on a dime an hour is gonna save so much money and the normie retards will buy anything that looks halfway decent. Concord and veilguard are the bottom at which the normies won't touch your thing, they just have to make it less ugly and it will sell.

This idea is so retarded and absurd that it circled back around to being amazing, imo. I can see it being an amusing romp if it hams it up enough.

So, ten years after its release, the devs of Elite Dangerous realized that letting the players have an effect on the world is good for sandbox MMOs, and in an update coming in December, you'll be able to colonize your own systems and manage them.

They didn't reveal a huge amount of info about it, but you'll need to find an empty star system (it's not hard, 1:1 galaxy), build some kind of space station, then use it to build planetary settlements and shit, and after your space station is fully built you can colonize more systems. You can't just plop a system in a random spot in the universe, it needs a logistics chain to civilization, but you can build that chain yourself, or with other players. Other stuff they mentioned is you being able to choose the economy and production of the system, and being able to build specific facilities to improve it. The system will also tie in to the updated politics system the game is getting tomorrow. Very cool, hope they don't botch the release too bad.
