Thanks for the recs everyone, now I have a fresh selection of things to choose from if I get tired of my own stuff.
Tbh i'd like a VGM sharing thread but I know it's gonna be fucking dead after a day and nobody uses this one anyway...
I mean I'd probably browse it pretty often and post there somewhat frequently, but I'd also like to not be the only one posting things there as well.
EDIT: I just checked Pizza Tower's OST, really good stuff there. My favorite:

Ayo this the designated "shill vidya music you like" thread?

Speaking of that game, the community consensus for the last Destiny 2 expansion being so bad means I managed to grab it for like $27 off of a grey market site, based retards. I ended up beating it, and yeah, the story is pretty shit, but the gameplay is fucking great, the new classes and weapons are fantastic, and the sandbox changes are really good, so I am once again confused on what the wider Destiny community is smoking, but I don't think those fucking mongoloids can ever be satisfied regardless of what Bungie does.

I really want to get the expansion, but I cannot really justify the purchase. Mainly because I don't have anyone to play with, so it'd just be playing through the apparently mediocre story with some bomb ass music. But yeah, Lightfall's OST is amazing, my favorite might be Oneirophobia or Hold the Line.
Also, RIP my man Lance. He'll forever be Commander Zavala to me, even after they replace him.

Eh, I've always really played it on my own, had one friend I sometimes played with, but he's too busy to play these days. I'm willing to LFG for non-voice chat shit like dungeons, but I've just given up on playing raids because I can't be bothered to deal with the cockmonglers that make up the Destiny community.

Solo trials today nearly fucking killed me, because the team balance in the game was designed by a crackhead that lives in the dumpster behind Bungie's studio. I love getting two armless toddlers on my team every single time just because I had the audacity to get good at the game without being an absolute meta abusing pizza grease elemental.

I had a team of 4 back in D1 TTK days. Shit sucks because now I can't enjoy the game without getting all nostalgic for those days again. Forsaken was really the last time I put a bunch of hours into the game, hasn't been the same since.
As for trials, I could never play competitive PvP of any kind ever. I did it once just to get The Recluse back in the day, and while I only lost like, 3 games out of the 20 or so just to reach the necessary rank for it, I was sweating my ass off using the MIDA smg and scout rifle. You have my condolences on even attempting solo trials.

LFGing is fine, it works a lot more times than it doesn't.

Trials is just grinding your face against a table saw until the blade breaks. Forget about going flawless, just grind rep during double xp weekends.

Lightfall story is dumb, the campaign is mostly decent combat except for a couple of dumb difficulty spikes on Legendary. The patrol zone is fine, although they're toning down the number of orange bar enemies because for some reason they made patrol enemies tougher than raid ones. The raid is mostly good, although the second encounter can get wonky and the player-launcher mechanic is prone to misfiring and launching you to your unavoidable death for no good reason. The seasonal activity is enjoyable, and it gives out red borders quite often. Strand classes are a fun addition to the game. Game is more prone to crashes than it used to be, there are a bunch of bugged exotics that have resulted in a ton of emergency disables and Cheese Forever has been working overtime to document all of the glitches.

Legit have had all of P-2's soundtrack playing pretty much every day these past 2 weeks. Hakita and KEYGEN CHURCH are amazing. Devourer of Gods is also great.

Rainbow Six Vegas (Vegas games are the best R6 games)

Assassin's Creed 2 (Sanctuary)

Ace Combat Zero (Zero)

I feel ya there. Lately things have gotten better, but I still tend to keep my music tastes to myself.

Kind of related to Video games, but can anyone recommend me some good OSTs to listen to? My list is already pretty extensive though.
Ace Combat
Risk of Rain
Deadbolt
Guilty Gear
Destiny
Halo
ULTRAKILL
Genshin Impact
Doom
Literally all FromSoft games
FFXIV
Nier
Payday
too many CoD games, but not all of 'em
DmC
Monster Hunter
Metal Gear Solid
Probably forgetting some, but those are kind of the main ones.

Gods Will Be Watching - original, alternative, and DLC soundtracks. I like watching streamers play it, but I don't think it's a very enjoyable game to play. The soundtrack though.

I also recommend the Topic channel for other soundtracks presumably by the same composer(s).

Well would you look at that. My first picture of anything vtuber related. Too bad I lost the Azur Lane account, I had quite a lot of good stuff on it, including all of the Hololive characters.

Already finished the battlepass and got most of the identities I wanted. I don't have a problem. I only spent $11.

I finished 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim today, it's definitely worth all of the praise I've seen it get. Kept me hooked and guessing until the very end.
It still doesn't top Odin Sphere: Leifthrasir for best Vanillaware game though...but I've played all of their titles now and they're all pretty good, so I really recommend you pick one up to support future developments, just pick one that has a genre or setting that seems interesting to you and you'll hopefully find yourself with a new favourite game studio.

That's pretty much the general concensus as well. People were ass mad because the campaign was basically a filler episode with a bunch of technobabble they didn't try to explain right before the big finale. Remember, the next big release is supposedly the culmination of the major plot, 8 years in the making. Bungie themselves posed it as their "infinity war".

Trials is just grinding your face against a table saw until the blade breaks. Forget about going flawless, just grind rep during double xp weekends.

[...]The raid is mostly good, although the second encounter can get wonky and the player-launcher mechanic is prone to misfiring and launching you to your unavoidable death for no good reason.[...]
That's exactly how I got myself that sweet new SMG. Shit's bonkers.
Also, about the raid's second encounter, the launcher's issue is tied to the player's FPS. Because how the game´s coded, more FPS = More damage taken, but looks like it also messes up with trajectories and speed, so if you have 80+ FPS you can expect overshootting your target and leaving a red splat on the wall or dowshooting the same platform and fall to your death.

Personally, I really liked the gameplay and QoL elements they shipped with Lightfall, but I hated the campaign. It was lazy, it shifted the focus from the main plot when tensions reached an all time high and they introduced two literal nobodies who you're supposed to empathize over the course of 5 missions. Last year's raid was miles better too.
