Did you just google "Hololive Covers" and these are what came up? Shiori can't sing at all and Raora barely can. That Fubuki cover isn't even one of her best from this year. Towa and Mio had a cover together that was better than both the individual ones listed.

Best Corpo:
Hololive. Despite the termination and graduations this year, Hololive continued to have a strong year with great events and fun streams. Obviously, I'm also a big Phase fan, and they had an amazing year as well, but it's pretty impossible to beat Hololive in this category.
Best Indie:
Other- Peo Yukinoshita. Big fan of Clio, Ami, and Grimmi, but I have to give it to Peo. She's done big things this year, including being an artist behind a very nice fan book made for her oshi Amelia, as well as being acknowledged and shouted out by prominent talents in the sphere, and while I don't give a crap about the Vtuber Awards, she was nominated for "Rising Star". She's also been growing quite a bit this year.

Most Notable Graduation/Return to Indie:
Minato Aqua. Was hard to decide between her and Selen as Selen's termination was a massive shock with everything behind it. But, Aqua was truly shocking and felt like it came out of no where. And her graduation concert was amazing. Absolutely a perfect send-off for such a legend in vtubing. Her graduation was the closest to home for me. I still remember saying that she had become one of my favorites in the previous few months the day before the announcement. Hit me pretty hard.
Niji’s Biggest L of the Year:
Elira’s Blackscreen Stream. No doubt. This was one of the dumbest things I've seen in a while. The best part about it is that it completely nulled anything about the Riku apology video that came out a few hours later. Without the blackscreen stream, the apology video could have at least looked a little as if he was acknowledging the problems that came from the Selen situation (not really, was clearly damage control, but still). Elira also added more to the theories that her and others were the bullies within NijiEN by claiming her and others were named in some legal documents. It's also now her most viewed stream on her channel. I guess props to her for not removing it, but holy shit was this retarded.

Getting exposed for abusing her husband and alogging him on 5chan. Not going to lie, finding out that she was talking shit about him on 5chan was fucking hilarious.

Short Fat Otaku decides to be a clout chasing femboy in Pippa’s chat on the day of Fauna’s announcement, she tells him off for harassing Kirsche which leads to him melting down and some of his associates disowning him. This was so fucking funny, and is one of my favorite moments of 2024. Dev is such a fag and seeing this fag named "Short Fat Otaku" getting absolutely roasted by a pink anime rabbit woman was amazing.
Girl Fail of the Year:
Hexa acquiring a Sonichu medallion, deleting all her vtuber files, nuking her own chance at a corpo job, and ruining her reputation on TVA. No contest. Her getting absolutely torched by Proctor with actual hard evidence was wild. Also got Naganon to leave the forums just days after he was allowed back again. What a night that was.
Disappointment of the Year:
Clara politisperging on her roommate Instagram after Trump won the election. I guess this one gets my vote by default.

Asylum Historical Event:
TVA gets raided by two Froot schizos, MakotoLitch and Rainblackrose. Lots of great moments on these forums this year, but this one was too funny.
Mystery/Rrat of the Year:
Why was Mel terminated, is Kotoka at fault? This one still has me very curious. I know nothing about Kotoka, but the timing of her hiatus was pretty interesting. Also still curious about the details of why Mel was terminated, but I know we'll never get those answers.
What the Fuck Moment of the Year:
Ex-owner of Cyberlive, Misaki Sato, streams with promises of exposing what happened to her company, only it isn't her but some skinwalking tranny, we learn nothing and I am very scared. The ghost of Cyberlive never dies! This one was so fucking strange. If I remember correctly, the stream was scheduled a long time in advance, so it wasn't some random, spur-of-the-moment stream. It actually happened as the waiting room said it would. It revealed nothing, but it was such a strange stream. Whoever the fuck that was sounded absolutely schizo, and I was half expecting an on-stream suicide or something.
Family Member of the Year:
Pekomama. I love Rinmama, but Pekomama is so god damn wholesome.
Hag of the Year:
Shishiro Botan. Big fan of literally every one of these, so I have to go with my favorite vtuber in general out of the bunch. She's had herself a great year too.
Inmate of the Year:
Empty_Inbox. Gotta' give it to the hardest working archivist on the site. I constantly use his thread recaps to go back in time to find old info posted on these forums. His recaps will definitely be missed when general hits 1000 pages soon, but hopefully he'll be able to have more time to enjoy streams and chat here.
The rest are great inmates too. Willemshaven is always great for his Holo clip posts. Jambalaya is always a fun poster and has had some great moments. Jebby has quickly carved out his own identity here with his
reacts, with the occasional breaks. Shuba is probably the best among us when it comes to representing his oshi, and I always appreciate his effort posts about her and other Holomems that many of us, myself especially included, would never learn about if not for him. Bay Lurker is the TVA lurker. Even though he/she almost never posts anything, he/she always feels like he/she is part of any discussion. Can always feel his/her presence on the forums, even while being a lurker.
There are many other great inmates too, and you all make this place worth coming back to almost every day to read and discuss things with.
Best Event/Collab of the Year:
Tenma Fever and the Trial of Eimi Isami. HoloGTA was amazing, and as a whole, was the best event. However, I just have to give this to Tenma Fever. This was one of the most creative events I've seen in a while. The fact that Tenma took Eimi's massive fuck-up of accidentally leaking Tenma's model and made an entire event around it in such a short period of time for her 200k celebration was amazing. I sometimes still wonder if the leak was intentional for this event because of how fast the Tenma Fever event happened after it, and how perfect it worked out. And the fact that Tenma, while not specifically stating what she did, acknowledged that Eimi had a fuck-up and punished her for it was the icing on top. Tenma never fails to be one of the most entertaining vtubers out there.

Phase Connect: Yes, I know, I'm shilling Phase and that will make Holokeks have minor seizures but Phase has had a surprisingly solid year while expanding substantially and none of the turmoil that has beset Hololive. I'm not stating that "Hololive is kill" but this was a rather rocky year for them as despite Holofes and events like HoloGTA being bangers, they had some shitty situations. Sticking their noses into China again, even briefly, is a huge fuckup and should have never been considered after the hell that current members went through like Haachama and Fubuki. Justice has been fantastic and Fuwamoco were very influential at returning a lot of the feelings from past years of Hololive but losing Ame and Fauna is a huge gut punch to HoloEN and the introduction of the "affiliate" form of graduation has made a lot of people worried about even more people leaving.
Best Indie:
Dokibird: Not really sure why she wasn't one of the indies nominated. Doki has had a really wild year and despite the shittiness of that painful termination, she's gone buckwild this year. She's genuinely one of the most entertaining streamers out there and has been hosting multiple big events, especially Wrestletuber. This woman has a legion of fans eager to throw her money and she suffers from a mental illness that prevents her from having any money in her bank account, so she's pouring all that back into content.

Whatever dignity and respect that NijiEN had left died the moment this hitpiece came out at the same time Doki did her first gaming stream after becoming an indie again. These 3 retards designated themselves as harassers and directly implicated Millie and Enna by mentioning them in the document. This was also right before Riku's apology speech to the investors, so it also nuked that as well. It is very fitting it is Elira's most viewed video by a huge margin.

Hololive bends the knee to China and returns to Billibilli: The Clara event was definitely super disappointing as fuck to see her double and then triple down on it but Hololive returning to China, even briefly, feels like a huge insult to all the harassment and shit all the girls went through, especially Fubuki and Haachama. It really undercuts their prior departure from China and the following EN Boom that made me respect Cover a lot.
Dokibird: No need to write more about this, this was a colossal event that completely nuked the PR of one of the two big JP corpo kings in the EN market and was a huge "fuck you" to them as she grew back again, now with even more subs than she had with the company.
Niji’s Biggest L of the Year:
Elira’s Blackscreen Stream: One of the biggest own goals in EN vtubing history. Whatever dignity and respect that NijiEN had left died the moment this hitpiece came out at the same time Doki did her first gaming stream after becoming an indie again. These 3 retards designated themselves as harassers and directly implicated Millie and Enna by mentioning them in the document. This was also right before Riku's apology speech to the investors, so it also nuked that as well. It is very fitting it is Elira's most viewed video by a huge margin.
Mikeneko Moment of the Year:
Getting exposed for abusing her husband and alogging him on 5chan: Peak comedy and a true sign that she is unfixable as a human being.
Instant Karma:
Menhera supreme, Gumpai starts a needless spat with plushie creator Kusa, the entire vtuber fanbase turns against her and she gets kicked off of uwumarket: Seeing this dumb bitch try to torch a random plushie artist only to be received with numerous vtubers dumpstering her for this was so satisfying. Her getting kicked off of uwumarket was just the cherry on top.
Girl Fail of the Year:
Hexa acquiring a Sonichu medallion, deleting all her vtuber files, nuking her own chance at a corpo job, and ruining her reputation on TVA: What a pathetic retard, not much more to say about her.
