Ehhhhhhhhhhhhhhh it's pretty terrible. Trying to give animals a "purpose" is a Pippa romanticization of other creatures, based on what she wants for herself. A cat doesn't care about its greater purpose, it lives in the moment because it is an animal and that is what animals do. As it is, well cared for pets in a position of companionship may as well be living in a utopia as far as they're concerned.
