I hate that most new games are getting turned into arcade-cartoon like, and people will defend it by saying games shouldn't be realistic, they can't comprehend that an in between exists, you don't have to have a griddy hitting prospector, or ultra realism nothing goofy can happen.

It really does feel like the industry as a whole saw the complaints about every AAA game from the 360/PS3-era being a grey military shooter, and tried to over-correct the problem.
