To more seriously respond to the idea of putting Reticule on trial, I would say that Reticule constantly breaks rule one of the site.

I think that Reticule is extremely disruptive, especially to this board, and it's entirely reasonable to ban someone whose posts overwhelmingly disrupt discussions that other posters have. Both moderation staff and the site owner have repeatedly requested Reticule change his behaviour, in their official capacity as moderators and as the site owner, and Reticule has repeatedly refused to do so. I think the site and moderation staff have been quite reasonable in how they've attempted to solve this issue without banning Reticule.

Now, I think offering a trial is the logical last step in this process. This leaves the decision of banning Reticule to the general board, eliminating questions of potential biases of Proctor and moderation staff, and sets a good precedent as to how the board will treat users they may not want on the boards in the future.

If he did it in other threads often I'd agree, but he keeps it here 99% of the time and it's at least partially an ongoing joke that fits with the thread culture. He can get banned when he finally crosses the line, I don't think that's today. Just means he won't get the benefit of the doubt later, but there will always be a village idiot. Reticule is fucked in the head but he's better than whatever Purrson adjacent fag would move in to replace him.
