I did the same with the Fallout Tactics patch, it was 75 mb I think. I saved it on a 128 mb USB stick that was really expensive back then. Anyone who needed it would invite me to their home to install the patch since I will not lend anyone the USB stick.

I think I had cable by the time the Daikatana 1.2 patch came out, which was a whole 45 megs.

Downloading it was a breeze, but man it took its sweet time installing.
