Okay thread, I have a question for you all. The forum's
Content Expansion Overhaul Plan is soon going to be active, and I've gotten a few ideas from it. We're currently at 1871 pages, and at page 2000, this thread is gonna be put into archive and a new thread will be created, as we regularly do to avoid the wrath of XenForo. When it rolls around, I was already planning on starting to properly utilize Threadmarks here, and I also have a new thought.
The new idea would be that since we have more than enough activity here in this discussion thread at regular intervals, I could shuck off
specific stream liveposting to archived threads retroactively after every stream. For example - Pippa stream starts. People livepost here for a few hours and fun is had by all. Then, when it ends, I or another mod go back and retroactively move the pages of discussion to a new locked thread, "Pipkin Pippa Stream Liveposting 4-20-25". I then signpost it here with a post linking to it, and threadmarking it so it isn't lost. This would remove more thread clutter, make it easier to see actual substantive posts, etc etc. The archived liveposting would also have Threadmarks for good posts.
Is this a retarded idea? Do you hate this? Do you hate change or embrace it? Vote now!
