Speaking for myself and in terms of what I see from people posting in this thread, the tech stuff appears to be genuine constructive criticism. Harsh sometimes? Yes. In exasperated tones? Also yes. Sometimes with jokes at her expense? Yes-yes. Thinking of @RedRage, and @JMForte specifically. But again the upside of this forum format is that post history is public and good-faith can be judged accordingly.

I missed the tangent itself earlier but my verdict right now is that I think the main thing is both sides are just frustrated and agitated. Her for having to deal with both a few actual genuine retards in chat actually baiting & the problems themselves, & then the people who are operating in good-faith become agitated with being categorized into hostile territory. Correct me if I'm wrong?

This plus her general attitude towards it, it unironically feels like the stick bike meme at this point and its frustrating after the 3rd+ time. But like I said when the thread talked about it the other day, I'm willing to wait and see if she actually builds her own this time if the shitforge doesn't work out before starting up again.

I think she's just overwhelmed with the volume of it. It's easy enough to point out what's constructive and what's not when you're looking at individual posts, but when she's trying to fix an unexpected problem live on stream, the influx of long instructions she doesn't have time to read in full/unhelpful advice from people who don't understand the specific setup she's using/repeated suggestions she's already tried that didn't work/drivebys gloating over her using Windows 11 or something equally as banal, the chat in that moment is just a singular source of stress with an awful signal to noise ratio.

I do appreciate the latter part though, she's very quick to fight back against the source of stress rather than just looking away from it when she's angry and starts yelling, and nobody likes being accused of doing something wrong - even if that wasn't her intent.
