I think the Disney trips and con trips did improve group cohesion, and people are less likely to leave a company where they are friends with their coworkers. I don't think Sakana deliberately planned it, it's just a combination of wanting to expand the brand through convention appearances, the talents wanting to go to Disneyland, since several of them live in California, and Sakana's autist luck.

Didn't a few other small corpos do group-offcollabs?
I mean it probably helps, the large Offkai gathering from last year definitely got a lot of girls closer to one another, and i hope one day Fishman pulls out his wallet to fly the SEA crew out to meet the others instead of co-sponsoring another Filian stream or whatever, but it's just one good move in a fairly large pile of good moves(and an even larger pile of "didn't make a bad move"s)
