That's inventing the reason to not play rather than actually having a legit reason lol. Standard has all kinds of shit leagues will never, ever get, precisely because all of the broken shit from past leagues is dumped there, so you can easily make this argument in both directions.

No, it's not making up a reason, it's the initial reason I had. My issue with seasons isn't the economy resets, it's that they introduce a bunch of crap that warps the game from what I enjoy about it, and Standard having piles of that random crap makes me not want to play it.

I don't mind balance changes or small system introductions like when Diablo 2 got talent cross buffs or you could summon mega Diablo, what I don't want to see is a season introducing a bunch of random crap and mechanics that change the game fundamentally so that it no longer is the same game.

I wish I could be meat Necro Pippa's undead super minion she uses to vanquish her enemies, and the whole time she thinks I have no free will and only because I'm bound to her am I doing her bidding, but the reality is I broke free long ago and don't want to make her feel bad about her sloppy incantations. So I just stick by her side as we overthrow the gods together and I get to see her so happy and gremlin like as she loots their dead corpses.

With everyone returning to their alts I think it's safe to say that this might be the saddest graduation of 2025. Appparently he had someone pretend to be him on TVA, not sure if he's talking about Reticule or not.
