No other talents at Phase stuck up for Yuri after her graduation. For a group as outspoken as Phase, I can't imagine that not a single talent would not say anything in her defense if she had been wronged. Second, Yuri has seen some prominent talents turning attacks on their character into their own PR wins, like Doki and Sayu. If she had a similar story she could have easily parlayed that into her own PR win but she has not. If Phase had actually treated her poorly, she must have treated Phase so much worse in return.
Nano(fuck, how many rebrands does this woman plan on going through) was sending good vibes to Phase over their Offkai technical difficulties. I think it's pretty safe to suggest that if she had any ill will towards the company, it dissipated after a year.

Posting that on her work account was really dumb. If she has a problem with people making jokes
Note that she retweeted this a few hours prior.

I don't think Yuri was done dirty here. The exact opposite - as far as non-amicable graduations go, Yuri's was arguably handled the best of any vtuber. She got to record a goodbye message for the fanbase (a clever way to give some closure to fans without risking the talent going rogue while on-stream), and the only thing said about her termination by Sakana was that it was a contract dispute and that Yuri had rights as a former employee to privacy as to what occurred. There was no attempt by Phase to poison the well in case Yuri wanted to try applying to another corpo. None of the other talents, as far as I can tell, feel like her leaving was unjust or unfair, so Sakana must have been extremely reasonable with his contract negotiations, or, as the rrats of the time speculated, Yuri had some serious problems she did not want to negotiate for in her new contract.

The only issue is that Yuri lost the rights to her character and model, which was not a good look at the time. However, Yuri had no problem with the arrangement when Sakana negotiated her initial contract. Still, I'm glad Phase has changed how they handle Invaders IPs after to avoid any future potential optics issues there.

When it comes to judgement calls on the Yuri case, I just think about Tenma's uncaring (almost spiteful towards Yuri) reaction to her graduation. Tenma's anger is a good litmus test for where bullshit lies, and if SHE says "good riddance" to Yuri, then I'm gonna lean on the belief that Yuri massively fucked up, Sakana threw her a bone, and Yuri refused it.

I trust what Rie has to say on the subject.

For all the managers (female) they now have, it's strange that they haven't taught them the basics of social media to avoid getting shit:

1. Don't respond to things you find disagreeable. Someone will identify that as your weakness and hammer it in later.
2. Don't hide comments because that feature is just signal boost for "what got my buttblasted today" on Twitter.
3. Don't make posts signaling your virtue or principles when they can be easily challenged with evidence making you look like a hypocrite.

Female managers make this problem worse, not better. Women are by and large terminally incapable of understanding any of these three points. They hate doing any of these things because it feels like they're giving in or surrendering to something they cannot agree with emotionally. The only times they ever do so are under overwhelming and intense pressure, which will just stick in their minds and harden their opinions on the topic. If you give the average woman an option between saving her career and shutting up about something or screaming her career-destroying opinions into the void, she will pick the latter option automatically. It is an extremely rare woman who can actually internalize any of these three points as common sense instead of massively hated, inconvenient shackles she feels should be immediately discarded as soon as possible. The more like-minded women in power you get together in a group, the more they will conspire and work hard together to break down any resistance to their virtue-signaling so they can spew it as far and as widely as possible.

We already know just how much Rie viscerally hates the fanbase of people like Pippa, to the point of refusing raids from her. I can't imagine how hard she had to be beaten around the face and neck to shut up about her politics, but I can guarantee you she has not stopped pushing for them and that it chafes her every single day she has to hold them in. If she was exposed tomorrow as a prolific Phase anti on /vt/ or other anonymous board, it wouldn't shock me at all. Thinking that a woman has 'learned her lesson' to keep her politics on the down-low in her content when she feels passionately about something is a massive mistake.

You should switch to watching male vtubers.

Lefty woman says stupid lefty thing on twitter and gets called out on it. Proctor most affected. News at sixteen pages.

The rest of the Phase women have the good sense to at least attempt to keep their political retardation in their pants. I suspect this isn't going to be the last time we see something like this from Clara unless PC management tugs on her leash.

FYI, there are a number of Pippa fans who watch Rie. I have seen Rie laugh at & make a lot of edgy jokes including Hitler posting. I'm inclined to chalk up the JK Rowling comment up to her tiktok osmosis retardation however as far as I'm aware she hasn't said anything else that could be considered pro left-wing during the following 2 years.

As far as not liking Pippa's fanbase, everyone complains about cappipis, especially other cappipis.

What Clara is doing seems to be something completely different. Clara is a hag who knows what she is saying and is doubling down.

I feel like the Pippa thread here proves that's probably not a bad idea regardless of her opinions

Well, that was fast

If Fishman was being smart, management would be choosing the mods. It only takes one troon getting his hairy manfoot in the door to ruin the whole place.

Case in point.

Those are all completely acceptable things to say and do even if you're a massive leftie. She's a streamer, not a front-line activist. The Boondocks was written by leftists, remember. You need to stop trying to apply consistent standards to a movement where rejecting consistent standards except where convenient was the whole point.

No offense, but i get the feeling that you'd love to "be correct about this" as you'd then get a never-ending supply of "i told you so"'s.

I would revel in it for maybe an hour before being distraught that a significant number of the cute anime women I watch are now in the toxic vicinity of nature's greatest sexual predator/time bomb
