I'll go back Jelly when he does...I hope it's not too heartbreaking when it graduates (Sakana eats it).
Only escalators are safe because they are the natural predator to the Chinese.I'll go back Jelly when he does...
Please don't tell me he eats monkeys as well
A W because that means everything is going as normal. Now that you have this thread, is Pippa autistically arguing with her chat on stream a Phase Connect L or a Phase Connect W for the audience? Her having really weird/bad opinions sometimes creates unrivaled entertainment.
Fair enough but that's a rather different situation - the relationship between a licensing body and a licensed person is rather different from that between an employee (even one you pretend is a contractor) and their management. It's by no means something that happens in every job which is what you said.I can assure you that suspension of your professional license, during which time you cannot earn money via your normal business, is 100% doled out as a punishment in the legal profession by bar discipline committees.
Doxing yourself as a white girl like that. Have you learned nothing about opsec?I will now oshi Sakana's dog
To be clear, "modeling" is a euphemism here. It's a non-nude porn video.
Huh what? No they don't, not for professional jobs in developed countries. You can be written up, you can be fired, you can maybe be demoted which would come with a pay cut but only if you've been promoted in the first place, suspension happens during an investigation but not as a punishment, and always on full pay. Monetary punishments make it too easy for bullying and coercion to happen, so they're either straight up illegal or open an employer up to so much liability that they might as well be.
Fuck, hope you don't find my Youtube channel. I'm actually very self conscious about the way I say "CHYYAAAT," it's very distinct.Doxing yourself as a white girl like that. Have you learned nothing about opsec?
Nice try, Lumi is a slav, not a white girl.Fuck, hope you don't find my Youtube channel. I'm actually very self conscious about the way I say "CHYYAAAT," it's very distinct.
On a completely unrelated note, you should buy yourself some professional quality coffee beans from the Official Phase Connect Store. I'm very partial to the Kaneko Lumi flavour, I reckon you'll like it too. Buy here now!!! https://shop.phase-connect.com/coll...ustom-roast-coffee-beans-kaneko-lumi-inspired

Technically yes (well not the clocking out part, I've never been hourly), but only as a prelude to an attempted illegal firing, it's not something I've ever seen a competent manager do. Indeed one time when I did screw up and offered to go home I was explicitly told not to, that that wasn't policy.been told to clock out early and sent home by your manager?
On the one hand yes, but aren't those exactly the kind of jobs where bullying/favouritism/coercion is rife? I guess the idol industry doesn't have great employment relations norms either, maybe low end service jobs are the right analogy and we shouldn't expect vtubing to be like a white collar workplace, but IMO suspensions aren't something to hold up as normal and good. It's a pretty common thing in service industry jobs where the employees tend to be lacking in life experience and/or ability to not make bad decisions, which certainly has parallels to the world of vtubing.
I don't think Yuri was done dirty here. The exact opposite - as far as non-amicable graduations go, Yuri's was arguably handled the best of any vtuber. She got to record a goodbye message for the fanbase (a clever way to give some closure to fans without risking the talent going rogue while on-stream), and the only thing said about her termination by Sakana was that it was a contract dispute and that Yuri had rights as a former employee to privacy as to what occurred. There was no attempt by Phase to poison the well in case Yuri wanted to try applying to another corpo. None of the other talents, as far as I can tell, feel like her leaving was unjust or unfair, so Sakana must have been extremely reasonable with his contract negotiations, or, as the rrats of the time speculated, Yuri had some serious problems she did not want to negotiate for in her new contract.Anyway, since we're here, we might as well start up the rrat engines… was she done dirty?

I've come around to the idea that something was fucky wucky about the whole thing on PC's side and their hands aren't entirely clean but I won't even try to guess how exactly. I hope we hear the full story some day but I won't keep the light on for it.
Sakana: We couldn't come to an agreement on the contract.Yuri was too fat for phase.
