Huh what? No they don't, not for professional jobs in developed countries. You can be written up, you can be fired, you can maybe be demoted which would come with a pay cut but only if you've been promoted in the first place, suspension happens during an investigation but not as a punishment, and always on full pay. Monetary punishments make it too easy for bullying and coercion to happen, so they're either straight up illegal or open an employer up to so much liability that they might as well be.
