I think it's worth pointing out that while Clara politisperging on alt is cringe, if it came out that say the Pippa rrats were true and she was also posting left-leaning takes it would likely be substantially less of a problem. There are (I at least like to hope) still left-leaning individuals out there that don't make politics their entire personality - Pippa befriended Kirsche for example. This is an important distinction in my opinion because it means even if Pippa is in fact a leftist she doesn't necessarily hate you, her viewer. Clara's fanfiction about female Trump supporters being raped and dying of sepsis because they couldn't get a safe abortion cements the fact that she despises you if you're right-leaning. Hell, she probably wouldn't love our own resident leftists simply for hanging around here... they always like going on about how if there's one Nazi in a group then you have a group of Nazis (exceptions made for pro-Palestinian rallies of course...) and I'm sure she'd consider at least someone here a Nazi. One point I always try to make as an actual American is that people do not understand what a true full scale civil conflict in the States would look like. The USA was never built around defensible city systems, so it's an aggressor-insurgent advantaged situation at pretty much all times. The major cities could be completely crippled in a night.

The problem is the brigade of morons that claims they want it are the ones least capable of surviving in the situation and with the singularly least understanding of how badly they'll get dead.

What they really don't get is that it would not be state vs state like last time or even rural vs city even: it would be people getting killed by their next door neighbor in the middle of the night. Guns are spread all over the place even in cities that claim to have strict "assault weapon bans" and police respond so slowly to report of a single shooting that likely someone could wipe out an entire block if they wanted before the cops even get called. Also it probably wouldn't be like a typical mass-shootings, if someone wanted to kill many and have a chance of evading capture planting timed or remote bombs would be more likely.
