It just popped up. It was going to happen soon, so it's great to see. Congrats Aki.

Mumei: I have an idea for my 3d live.Someone keeps posting this clip on 4ch, it's old news by this point and obviously it's better to just move on rather than dwell on the past, so they are probably just trying to make people seethe...
...And it's working.
Imagine that work pipeline. She had to scrap all plans and come up with a completely new 3d live; new theme, new setlist, new perms, new backing tracks, new 3d sets, new guests (probably), and she can't delay it because even that would take too long to get....1 model from her 1 million wish. All that extra time. effort, and stress because they can't make a 3d model on time. Basically, "It is easier for you, a single person, to start from square one and do absolutely everything from scratch, than it is for us, an entire company to make a 3d model."
(and no, I am not implying that all of those things were completed and waiting for the model, I am mainly complaining about it to point out the timeline. Many girls have talked about how much goes into planning and producing their own 3d lives, months and months and months and months of brainstorming and work before the final product is released, and Cover can't make a 1 million wish alternate 3d model in that same timeframe.)
Oh yeah, and it's not in that clip, but also she knew what she wanted for her 1 million wish even before she hit it, but they didn't allow her to request it until after she hit 1 million. They could have started planning it earlier because it's obviously just a matter of time when the talent is at 990k (talk to the artists, get concepts fleshed out, etc), but the Japanese autism required waiting until it's official.

Retard, it should obviously be hats, not meds.

See people, preventing stupid ideas like this is why I posted the clips.Mumei: I have an idea for my 3d live.
Management: It will take us this long to get you everything you need.
Mumei: That will take too long. I'll do something else instead.
In case you don't have speakers, "But it went from them saying, 'yeah, it will take this amount of time', to going, to being double that amount of time."Yeah, 'rrats', sure. Darned Mumei telling rrats about her own experiences.
She can't really be single. I don't believe it. The only way she's still single is if multiple suitors are fighting over her.
Of course, what can you expect from a woman who hasn't read ASOIAF and is just getting mad at second-hand information. I believe we call those people tourists here?"I did begin a story placed about 100 years after the Downfall, but it proved both sinister and depressing. Since we are dealing with Men, it is inevitable that we should be concerned with the most regrettable feature of their nature: their quick satiety with good. So that the people of Gondor in times of peace, justice and prosperity, would become discontented and restless — while the dynasts descended from Aragorn would become just kings and governors — like Denethor or worse. I found that even so early there was an outcrop of revolutionary plots, about a centre of secret Satanistic religion; while Gondorian boys were playing at being Orcs and going around doing damage. I could have written a 'thriller' about the plot and its discovery and overthrow — but it would have been just that. Not worth doing."

At first, I was really surprisedand was hesitant, and she told me "I'm kinda sad

Now I really understand how Grandma felt when she would say "I'm fine, you guys eat it." The bestin my life.
I will gratefully, happily, receive it.
Matsuri, you're a girl who always thinks of others before yourself.
I want you to take care of yourself, too.
Ive not read or care about either book but ill still call Nerissa based (somehow!) just because GoT fans are funny to poke atKind of a dogshit opinion, NGL. Martin's point about "Aragorn's tax policy" wasn't about Tolkien's worldbuilding being lacking in that regard, just that his own writing deals with the contradictions between being a good man vs. being a good king who wields power effectively. Tolkien wrote in the epic tradition because that's what he liked, with the heroic ideals of kingship that come with it, whereas Martin is "writing" (LOL, Winds when you old fat fuck) something more similar to historical fiction in a world with magical elements. Martin is a massive fan of Tolkien and has an enormous amount of respect for his work, in that quote he was just talking about the themes he'd rather deal with in his own medieval fantasy series.
Hell, Tolkien himself considered writing a sequel to LOTR but stopped after realising that in a world without magic and a single uniting evil to rally against, the people of Middle Earth would quickly devolve into petty squabbling, literally the starting point of A Game Of Thrones:

No nuances about what Martin meant about Aragorn (Who was a good king, by the way. Contrary to modern romanticized ideas kings didn't run every facet of the country and a good one was hands off and left things running through the feudal lords, which Aragorn apparently followed) changes the fact that ASOIAF is postmodern boomer truther crap.Kind of a dogshit opinion NGL. Kanna's Glowiest Assistant isn't that bad.....I'm pretty sure this is what got her that schizo anti that's obsessed with those books.
Which gives a bit of insight into what the audition process had evolved into after Council. It's interesting they explicitly mention content restrictions. Talents can't really claim they "didn't know" now. There were some questions I expected: the type of character I wanted to play, the type of content I wanted to make, and my larger goals as a VTuber. But I also received a lot of questions that dealt with personal responsibility.
They included:
- “How will you cope with the stress of a large audience?”
- “If you don’t get along with another talent, how will you manage working with them?
- “How do you plan to navigate content restrictions as a corporate VTuber?”
Good riddance, if you can't even hack the passion why even bother?A bit of perspective from an indie quitting vtubing forever, which means she can share her experience of auditioning for Holo 7 FUCKING TIMES lol, doesn't reveal much since she didn't get past the first round of interviews and the most interesting tidbit is probably this:Reddit - The heart of the internet

Edit: Also she literally admits in her grad video that joining a corpo was only a means to an end and she wasn't really passionate about it, so I guess the audition staff sniffed that one out somehow.
