Imagine that work pipeline. She had to scrap all plans and come up with a completely new 3d live; new theme, new setlist, new perms, new backing tracks, new 3d sets, new guests (probably), and she can't delay it because even that would take too long to get....1 model from her 1 million wish. All that extra time. effort, and stress because they can't make a 3d model on time. Basically, "It is easier for you, a single person, to start from square one and do absolutely everything from scratch, than it is for us, an entire company to make a 3d model."
(and no, I am not implying that all of those things were completed and waiting for the model, I am mainly complaining about it to point out the timeline. Many girls have talked about how much goes into planning and producing their own 3d lives, months and months and months and months of brainstorming and work before the final product is released, and Cover can't make a 1 million wish alternate 3d model in that same timeframe.)

Oh yeah, and it's not in that clip, but also she knew what she wanted for her 1 million wish even before she hit it, but they didn't allow her to request it until after she hit 1 million. They could have started planning it earlier because it's obviously just a matter of time when the talent is at 990k (talk to the artists, get concepts fleshed out, etc), but the Japanese autism required waiting until it's official.

What exactly is the controversy here? This seems like pretty normal stuff for any creative corporate environment. Sometimes things don't work out and you have to change your plans. It sucks, but that's the way it is.

And by the way, it's a two way street between talent and management. For much as I love Mumei, she stated on many occasions that it took her a long time to finish projects because she would record multiple takes until she got it to sound just the way she liked. It's one of the reasons why it took so long for Mumei and Bae to release their preYdator cover songs.

I'm sure that didn't make things easy for management or the other talents. This idea that management is completely bad and incompetent while the talent are completely infallible and perfect is retarded. In situations like this, there are usually things that both sides could have done better.

Also the example you provide of a cover song has almost nothing to do with management. Preydator is not an official unit doing Cover Corp projects, covers like that are down to the talent and their direct manager, any hypothetical delays in that are completely irrelevant and have no effect on anything besides delaying the song. If you had her talking about being late to deliver voice lines for official projects then you'd have something (and clips of that might exist), but as of right now you're making up a false statement, extrapolating common behavior from that falsehood, and then using an irrelevant example to support it.

Given the timing of Advent 3D, I am predicting Justice will announce their 3D debuts during their anniversaries in late June and the 3D debuts will be either June 27/28 for ERB and Gigi and July 4/5 for Cecilia and Raora, or July 4/5 and 11/12 instead, with the group collab potentially on July 11 (Though that might conflict with IRyS' anniversary, so it might be July 12 for the 3D group collab)

Martin's point about "Aragorn's tax policy" wasn't about Tolkien's worldbuilding being lacking in that regard, just that his own writing deals with the contradictions between being a good man vs. being a good king who wields power effectively. Tolkien wrote in the epic tradition because that's what he liked, with the heroic ideals of kingship that come with it, whereas Martin is "writing" (LOL, Winds when you old fat fuck) something more similar to historical fiction in a world with magical elements. Martin is a massive fan of Tolkien and has an enormous amount of respect for his work, in that quote he was just talking about the themes he'd rather deal with in his own medieval fantasy series.
Hell, Tolkien himself considered writing a sequel to LOTR but stopped after realising that in a world without magic and a single uniting evil to rally against, the people of Middle Earth would quickly devolve into petty squabbling, literally the starting point of A Game Of Thrones:

No nuances about what Martin meant about Aragorn (Who was a good king, by the way. Contrary to modern romanticized ideas kings didn't run every facet of the country and a good one was hands off and left things running through the feudal lords, which Aragorn apparently followed) changes the fact that ASOIAF is postmodern boomer truther crap.

A bit of perspective from an indie quitting vtubing forever, which means she can share her experience of auditioning for Holo 7 FUCKING TIMES lol, doesn't reveal much since she didn't get past the first round of interviews and the most interesting tidbit is probably this:

There were some questions I expected: the type of character I wanted to play, the type of content I wanted to make, and my larger goals as a VTuber. But I also received a lot of questions that dealt with personal responsibility.
They included:

• “How will you cope with the stress of a large audience?”
• “If you don’t get along with another talent, how will you manage working with them?
• “How do you plan to navigate content restrictions as a corporate VTuber?”

Which gives a bit of insight into what the audition process had evolved into after Council. It's interesting they explicitly mention content restrictions. Talents can't really claim they "didn't know" now.

Edit: Also she literally admits in her grad video that joining a corpo was only a means to an end and she wasn't really passionate about it, so I guess the audition staff sniffed that one out somehow.
