I like this off-collabing arc we have going on. It just feels more close than it usually does, probably because there's a record number of EN actually living in Japan outside of the guests. Also expecting Justice 3D debuts soon, probably? No real other reason to call the whole gen to Japan.
Speaking of gloves and off-collabs, Kiara tried getting Ina to draw with her feet, but due to Hololive rules, IRyS notices a problem:
"We don't have feet gloves though, do we?" More commonly known as 'socks'.

Will most likely be announced after fes but before the obligatory new EN gen in the summer.
On a slightly random note, I wanted to mention that there have been a ton of lives over the past few weeks. Other than Subaru and Miko, all of these were just in February alone:
Despite the quantity though, it really feels like the quality has only gone up. Like Subaru was talking about how much focus she put into the camera angles this time and you could definitely see it. Background dancers, choreography, audio, song order, camera work, lighting, overall aesthetic, theming, stages, animations, opening/ending credits etc. It genuinely feels like the staff, the studio and the talents have all leveled up in multiple ways and it's been super pleasant to see. Kinda crazy to think that despite the amount of kino we've gotten lately, 6th fes is just a few days away. Gotta say I'm pretty damn excited.
Also I don't think it was ever posted but Okayu's live ended with her announcing her 2nd sololive!
It's gonna be in the Pia Arena, same place where Fubuki just had hers. It's even more special for her because her 1st sololive was in 2022, when Japan was still doing COVID safety stuff. The crowd wasn't allowed to yell or cheer at all and could only snap/clap IIRC, so the fact that she gets a chance to do it again, but with actual cheering and yelling for her, is pretty sweet.

I think inviting the whole gen over to Japan to meet other JP and EN members are pretty much worth it - let alone it being a good immersive preview of what they can expect next year when they officially become a part of Fes. Helps them mentally prepare and actually start thinking about the things they need to do for these kinds of huge projects. Think ramping up dance lessons, or in Gigi & Ceci's case - actually pull the trigger on those Nihonggo lessons they've been talking about taking. I mean, Holo Summer is also coming up and they're likely legible to participate on that now too. I think it's a great way to ease the newest gen on how the entire enchilada gets made without them necessarily being immediately thrown in the deep end.
As for the off-collabs, Raora, Biboo, and the Twins having their own places just helps open up the off-collab opportunities as they can all just rotate and hang-out while streaming without necessarily overwhelming one place.

I was watching the new year's live a while ago (didn't watch it at the time because I was pissed off) and it is quite incredible to see how much mouth and finger tracking has improved from even breaking dimensions. I don't remember which song it is but you can see a couple of the talents move each finger individually in a smooth motion. Miko's live today had her actually move her mouth accurately according to what sound she was making.
Do we know if the studio has already switched over to Unreal or are they still using Unity?

It should still be Unity afaik. One of Suisei's MGO lives used Unreal but other than that, I don't think they've done too much with it so far.

I checked out and translated some of the comments on the pre-chat and it looks like the Nips are thinking it as well - with some even pleading/coping that it be a long break rather than an outright graduation.

I mean she has been basically on the doorstep for a loooooooong time but does it have to be right before fes weekend? I thought they discussed these things beforehand and set the date.
