eh anime has been skirting the line for years on how to represent the sins without being too overt.

hell FMA exists Lust despite being "classically hot" isn't particularly lustful and Greed is arguably the most popular character in the show. and for how much a shit show the Seven Deadly Sins anime is King is a good presentation of Sloth (slow to anger/act) and Ban (want for things he cannot have).

Also that gens tend to drop their lore after like a month.
