Considering how much time that girl spends doing make-up and other girl stuff, I would very much surprise me she doesnt pluck her eyebrows on the weekly at least. Shes a very girly girl. Its probably just the lightning.

She would, but what can you do. She is definitely a product of the environment she had herself in for that past 10 years, who knows if she will ever feel comfortable with herself.

As someone who had the luck of meeting her up close and in person during a convention (not in cosplay), I agree. The years she learned how to put on cakey make-up that doesnt look terrible. Most girls would just look ridiculous but she makes it work.

This year's Holo Sports Festival was pretty good. It flowed much more smoothly, the transition between games wasn't long and overall the games felt better, especially the mob battle one. It helped that there wasn't a need to explain the rules multiple times or redo any of them because of misunderstandings. As much as I wanted to see Fauna or Gura tryharding their asses off again, cutting off most of EN/ID felt like the correct choice. This year's festival was only 3 hours compared to last year's near 6 hours lol. It felt like Miko, Mio and Subaru were less stressed out too.

That being said, there was no way this year was going to live up to last year's hype. I can still remember the final race between Kiara and Moona only for the score to be tied in the end thanks to Haachama, who was stuck and forgotten in Red Light Green Light cause her keyboard messed up. It feels autistic to say because it's a bunch of anime women competing in fucking Minecraft of all things, but removing most of the overseas girls reduced the stakes (and my interest) and made the whole event feel a little lacking. Hopefully Mio/Miko/Subaru can balance things out next year and include more of them without stressing themselves out.

Yeah, the sports festivals are an ongoing learning process, but I do think not including the EN girls made it a better experience for everyone but the EN only fans. As someone who also watches a lot of Haachama, Pekora and other JPs, the exclusion of EN girls didnt lessen my excitement for it. Also helps that Kiara was there anyways, as well as Moona and Reine and other IDs.
The games and arena become more and more intricate every year, its honestly very very impressive what Mio and Miko and Subaru are setting up.
Seeing ENs last year was fun but the frequent miscommunications did drag that event much longer than it needed to. 3-4 Hours is a good length, anymore and I myself am not paying much attention.

I've said it before, but I'll expand further: Ina and Calli specifically have very distinct styles of movement. Calli in the Myth or Treat that I linked does not move like the Calli we know from either her own personal live shows or real life. Normally I think she would have been there to do her own dancing, but she's been insanely busy and constantly travelling for the past...several months(?) and she probably just couldn't make the time to learn choreo and record while in Japan.
And Ina, she just literally does not move like this (40:24, timestamped to her song with Marine), that is how the JP girls move being in studio and taking dance lessons together and what-not. Watch Ina's Holofes performance again if anyone can find it. It was great, one of my favorites actually, graceful, elegant, etc. But I can't imagine her IRL doing the sort of 'bouncy anime girl' choreo that the JP's are always doing. She would probably literally die.
Gura and Kiara (and somewhat Ame) I could go either way on, because they do have more of the 'JP style' and interest in idol dancing/physical performance and being 'traditionally cute anime girls'. But for them I fall back on the logistics argument...

Yes they have access to studios, like whatever they used for their Holofes performances, but even back then people talked about the logistics of renting those places out even just to record a 5 minute video. Holofes was a major event where the 3d models were first being unveiled, and Cover probably paid out the butt to make sure the quality was up to their standards at each of the studios the girls had to go to (at least one in NA and one in EU). A cameo in a birthday stream is not nearly the same level of importance as Holofes. If it were economically viable for Cover to rent these places out for minor events, there is NO WAY that Kiara would not have just paid out of her own pocket to record her Birthday Live (a major event for her) in that quality. In fact, she explicitly said that all of the studios in Europe that she got quotes from were 6 figures for 1 day. Let's just go with the absolute lowest '6 figures' (very generous of me), $100,000 for a studio for a day, to record a 1 hour stream. Let's just pretend that a 5 minute cameo takes 1/12th of the time to record as a 1 hour stream and the studio offers smaller time segments like that (again, being very generous), that would still be an $8.333.33 (repeating, of course) expense per cameo. From a business perspective, even this extremely low estimate is still not really viable.

So once again: 1. For some girls, the movement simply does not match their own personal style. 2. Logistics of 'major events' vs. 'minor events'. 2b. Their real '3d Debut Streams' are going to be major events; if it were so easy to get these into these mocap studios, why the huge delays and girls constantly hoping to be able to travel to Japan to be able to record them?

And I've said this before too; this doesn't mean I'm pooping on anyone or being mad at Cover or anything, it's more "eh, that was fun, can't wait to see the real thing". I'm just excited for the real debuts and I don't need to pretend to be all amazing-super-hype-Nolan-style excited over these in order to still be excited for those.

I've heard the theory that Tumblr banning porn is what caused the death of the internet. Before all the freaks were JUST on Tumblr, after the ban, they scattered all over the internet, infecting every other site. Twitter destroyed, Reddit destroyed, free speech in general destroyed. Everywhere on the internet is now infested with lgbtqiap++ Steven Universe loving degenerates, and even allowing them a small foothold allows them to grow in power, like a cancer.

In fact, Tumblr banning porn is probably what caused all the problems for KF. If all the sickos had just stayed quarantined in Tumblr, they never would have branched out of their own echo chambers to infest every other space and make their demands.

The channel owner is a pretty big Pippa fan. I remember he first donated to her during her tornado charity stream as he was in one of the areas affected. He also talks about both Josh and Jim quite often, though I'm not sure If he was in the old thread as he had only heard of Pippa after her run in with the Gunt despite being a fan of vtubers for a while before then. His friend, the one doing most of the talking at the given timestamp, by contrast, doesn't care for vtubers but pretends to have beef with Ina as she played The Unfinished Swan right after he did a review of it, the only video on his channel, and jokingly claims she stole the idea from him. If anyone remembers from the homeland these are the guys who got Flamenco to drunk DM Iron Mouse.

Oh, something I forgot to bring up in my last post mentioning Razorfist but I find it odd that he made it on to the list but Metokur and MATI did not.
