I have a question. If this was actually fair who do you guys think would deserve to be on the list? And who would deserve to win?

Mouse and Gura would be the front runners for corpo, as for independents who knows.
If mouse wasn't so sick she'd rival Gura and overshadow everyone else, the two of them don't have any other real competition to worry about.
The singers in HL would get an honorable mention
Ayame would easily get the highest dollar per minute streamed. Queue the doom soundtrack of the red waves every time this girl streams and mentions a sob story. (Personally not trying to be mean but this baits the most reds for her.)

Depends on metrics, but honestly if Gura put out albums at the rate calli does, she'd overshadow everyone by a country mile and thats with the limiters on.

Hard to say because I honestly don't even know what they would be looking for. If it's sheer numbers and EN-only then Gura just wins, no? But awards usually aren't based on pure numbers alone, at least not many of the big ones. It's kind of hard to qualitatively judge vtubers though because so many of them go for different appeals. Even within HoloEN you have Calli and Ame for example, two people who are best known for different kinds of content in spite of being literal genmates.

Ultimately it'd mostly just come down to general bias. A HoloEN fan would probably pick one of them. I'd probably pick a NijiEN. For a lot of people here it'd be Pippa. I don't think any choice is really less valid than the rest, but I also don't really put much stock into awards (even big ones like the Oscars are kind of a joke IMO).

I don't know anything about this award. Is it English language only? If not, then Usada fucking Pekora deserves at least a nomination. Not only is she arguably the most successful vtuber streamer of all time, she's driven so many of the stories that Hololive has made through their content and continues to do so as recently as last month.
Any of the frequent organizers in HoloJP would deserve it too. Miko especially.

Honestly, I'm down for Mousey if its English only. Not sure who else in the EN sphere really truly achieved or created anything special 2021-2022, maybe Mori since that was kind of her year in terms of music output.
