Do you attend conventions specifically to make cosplayers hold a gun while posing for a picture? Based.
YES.
Though I do attend conventions to do other things (part of community who does tactical cosplays, for one), while also touching grass and keeping up with trends or potential local drama that tend to happen in Indo weeb scene. The whole "give cosplayer a gun" thing did started from a photo somewhere on the net of a genshin cosplayer in a event outside of ID holding a gun, and I decided to just copy it and have fun with it. It just rather fun to see characters you don't usually hold a gun to be depicted holding one, and at least some other cosplayers are agreeing with what im doing.
EDIT: for the record, am also doing some small cosplay as "tactical dude with a gun" in part of being part of the community and make it look less weird when on events.

I do think Pikamee is going to get a lot of hate if it's her and she may not be prepared to handle it going off the HL precedent. She'll probably fare better than Nazuna if she can wait out the haters simply because her audience and streaming niche aren't as completely anathema to Vshojo's culture. Still, if they fucked Rushia over with her contract, I see no reason why they wouldn't try to do the same with Pikamee.
