I presume this is a quarterly taxes issue, which tends to catch people off guard when they go from their normal wage job to their own personal thing where they pay their own salary. Because your employer always does this shit for you.

This doesn't shock me, unless you go looking for it in college, school doesn't teach you shit about taxes or personal finances and not everyone has family who self employees. Only self employers or contractors will ever really need to pay quarterly. People don't even know that the 15.3% that gets taken from your check is matched by your employer. I know people who are twice my age who don't believe me when I tell them this.

I never had this when I went to business school, I was pretty much told how to do taxes, what financial leverage is, you know useful bullshit like that. Difficulty goes up to 30 from what I remember. So she might have put it too high. Ring fit is pretty strenuous.
