Here's something interesting, Pochi-sensei, Reine's mama and mangaka of Ane Naru Mono will unveil a new model tomorrow and use her real voice as she has been using voice changer all this time.

Technically she's a babiniku since the term can either mean males using female avatars and/or voice changers or vtubers who drew their own avatar. Based on the second meaning, indie Suichan can be considered a babiniku.
There's a non zero chance you might hear a male voice, as most of Pochi-sensei's daughters are all male with the clear exception of Reine but who knows.

That's faster than I expected, you can already tell that it's gonna be a more mature model. Also I think Pochi had collabs with other vtubers who don't collab with males so I would be really surprised if she turns out to be a guy.

A lot of people thought that I'm a male after I said I was using voice changer, but I'm actually a woman.
My real voice compared to the voice I'm using when streaming so far is much lower/deeper.
I think this change would affect the stream atmosphere to some extent but it would be nice if you could watch me over from now on as well

Also just as a side note, insecurity is a thing for some people which is why Pochi-sensei has been hesitating to use her real voice until now. Babiniku while it might refer to mostly male who pretended to be female online by using voice-changer, it's also applicable to anyone as long they're using a fake voice just so they could avoid using their real voice that might not be as attractive in their opinion

Most people tagged the stuff I would typically mention, Steller Stellar, End of A Life, High Tide, Palette etc.
Actually come to think of it, a song that's always stuck out to me for whyever that I don't think anyone mentioned specifically from Suisei is Bye Bye Rainy. It's just comfy to me or something.


I still think Potion by Michiru of PC is an unironic bop. Sorta wish it somehow had a few Holo covers of it.



Hopefully Pochi is healthy enough to be able to consistently stream. She really seemed to enjoy it but health issues and all just sounded like it gimped her attempts to. Sorta miss her, she's a sweetheart and despite her job arguably more innocent than most the scene. As far as being a streamer goes anyway. Not sure how "innocent" you can be as someone drawing porn but doesn't necessarily mean you're an aboslute degen either. I think..

Oh don't get me wrong, I know of lot of them do it as a side gig or often start there/mainly work there and so on. Let's be real, depending on what you're doing we all know porn makes bank. I just meant that as far as being a streamer goes, she's pretty sfw. At least from what I recall anyway, but it has been a while.
Can't comment on her actual job much, I swear I remember her saying streaming was actually pretty comfy and helped her stress levels. As far as how good or bad she is with deadlines or focusing on work alongside streaming I can't say I know enough to really form a judgement on it. I fully admit I'm not versed enough to know if she's had money issues or job complications.

Twitch deciding to change how much money they take from there users might actually fuck them over. If its one thing that gets people concerned enough that they might consider going to another site despite the differences between the two, its when you decide to mess with their income; because for all of the Twitch streamers that complain about how sub-par Youtube's streaming tools are, it has at least stayed consistent in how much it takes. I think they'll be willing to deal with the negatives if it means they can still pay there bills, regardless of what they've said previously.

Of course we'll have to see if this is just a fluke or if Twitch decides to double down on it. If we see a bunch to Twitch vtubers start to add in Youtube streams in the schedules more often, some kind massive switch could be very plausible.
