I'm gonna miss Lumi's old model. I think she and Yuri have both indicated that they're not using their old models anymore (though I can't remember where), which is a shame. Lumi's old model had a very distinctive head tilt posture that really matched her personality. But the new one is fine, even if it does really remind me of Veibae.

Honestly, I like that she streams on Twitch. It's a good way to diversify things and not have everyone step on everyone else's shoes which is a huge problem Phase has.

honestly i just like them for who they are and less for tropes and what vibes they give off. I like genuine shit, phase is pretty legit, atleast people i watch, indies are legit, flavr being a fake company produced some of the most legit streamers out there, cause there will never be an actual mom of two kids on holo.

That's the draw for me really, as it's interesting to hear their stories and how they overcame things is a nice feelgood moment. The low points also give contrast to things. Really the gimmicks are probably the weakest aspect for me and I'm indifferent to whether you're a vtuber or meat tuber.

I really like the new model, and even more so because it looks like Veibei. I now have someone who is infinitely better than her in personality, with an upgraded model. Every time I'll see this, I'll just think Veibei is seething again that someone dared look like her.

Yes, and she was excited because her old model couldn't do it properly. So we actually have a 'real' smug-face now.

Lumi fared better than Yuri to me, because it's still pretty much the same design in a different art style. Yuri's feels a lot more generic than her previous model.

It's a shame Lumi seems to have lost the braid though, I always thought that was a neat touch.

Finally figured out how to create an account.

The new Lumi looking like Veibae doesn't affect me too much, as I'm not too familiar with the later. I do see the similarities though, which is bound to cause a lot of annoying comments in the future for Lumi.
Dark Lumi is some of that good shit though. A shame its not on Lumi's new daki.

As an aside, during Lia's stream last night she seemed distracted at points and said that Christmas Eve was the worst day of her life, citing "a new unexpected family member" . She seemed in better spirits by stream's end though.
