As for whether skinwalking it will work for the buyer... I don't see it happening, and being blunt, I hope it doesn't. It sets a terrible precedent that will absolutely be abused by bad actors, and it erodes the concept of vtuber kayfabe even more.

I think you're way exaggerating how much of a problem it is and how much people would have an issue with it.

It's one thing if a corpo does it after a termination or graduation, because that is inherently scummy. But here the owner is willingly selling her model for someone else to use. Why would this be a problem?

This isn't all that different from buying one of those cheap pre-made models like Filian that could have an unlimited number of people using it. I would hardly even call it skin walking.
