That's what makes the most sense to me.I've seen several people on reddit suggest it has to do with Bricky being in charge of her merch and because that's really the only way Vshojo makes money off the talents and it might've upset them when she refused to switch back to them
Bro its going to be Bao again. Bao always gets fucked over.I don't want to jinx it ( I'm lying I do) but I give them a year before one of them drops a google doc on the other
That's actually very interesting information. So what the fuck are they doing differently?I can vouch for merch problems and her voicing her own frustration about it on stream, usually in response to a Momo asking if there's any updates on merch.
Everything I've ordered from VShojo has missed the predicted release by months. It took ~10 months to get a fucking standee. Meanwhile the stuff I ordered when she set up her own store actually did arrive in weeks.
She's not really setting the bar high with that one.She won't go deeper into detail but she did mention she's mentally in a much better place than she last time she parted with her corpo.
I always wondered where the fuck Vshojo gets the money from. Last time I heard about percentages was when Kson joined and she still mentioned that superchats/subscriptions were 100% in her favor and Vshojo only took a cut from merch.Considering most of them already have outside management agents, there's an interesting question about what the organization does for anyone at this point.
Venture round closed in March 2022, so backers are going to want a plan for an exit strategy this year and an exit in 26 or 27.
Analysis of Vshojo. I was looking for funding information. Crunchbase's tools says "very unlikely to IPO" and "very likely to be Acquired".
I don't think this'll hurt Matara.
As I dont really watch Twitch so I didnt even know that Vshojo had a store until someone else pointed it out to me. I have some questions. How much merch do they sell? How much do these talents shill their store? How much new merch gets added to the store on a monthly or quarterly basis? Or are they just selling the same merch they announced 2 years ago for a debut and never added anything else?
Hololive talents are constantly shilling merch especially after any events or birthdays or other shit. 3D? MERCH. Concert? MERCH. Gen or Branch collab? MERCH.
And now my other questions related to those previous questions. Where the fuck does the money to fun the company come from? They have about 30 employees meaning they pay these people. Many of the Niji talents have managers. Who pays them? The company or the talent? Finally with the JP wave, since they are not big talents per-se do they have the same 100% revenue split? Do they have managers? Do they have to deal with game perm retardation?

Another thing I always wondered about was the 3 talents that left. These 3 talents left during the contract negotiation/renewal time. Nyanners mentioned that "it made no sense" for them to stay in the company and for some reason I always thought that Vshojo was possibly asking for a revenue cut to cover operational costs. Given that they were not friends with anyone in the corpo anymore, and they probably wouldnt get any benefits from a cut they just dipped.
I am not sure how they are doing after leaving but I havent heard about any of them in a very long time.
