am I the only one who thinks this is overblown reaction to fish dying?
Getting emotionally attached to fish is weird. They arent pets, you dont touch them directly, their life span is short and any part of the fish tank could fuck up and they die overnight, all the times. And they are super easy to replace.
I treat them more like planted flowers.
my pump broke a few times (in more than a decade of keeping fish) killing the fish and the only thought I have is "fuck, now I have to clean the tank"

No travel to JP. Had to full graduate since no affiliate can be in another corpo.
Skill issue and shit heater design. When i had aquarium my heater was very simple unregulated one. Just glass tube with sand and spiral plugged into the wall. Absolutely impossible to overheat by design (unless you get catastrophic failure and 400V on the input i guess)

We know the english speaking side doesn't have to put up with game perms bullshit but I wonder if they jps have to because they kinda land on a gray area. I wonder if they actually have to ask for perms from oriental games still or they just wing it and hope for the best.
Affiliate can be in another corpo under different character, literally nothing could prevent it. This isn't even conflict of interest, just somewhat questionable marketing decision (for new corpo to accept affiliate of another one). Old corpo have absolutely nothing to lose in such situation, only new one, and even that is hypothetical.
My understanding is that JP talents have to put up with game perm autism for Japanese games because of different copyright rules and perceptions in Japan, but don't have to if they play non-JP games. So, still a lot nicer than most companies manage.
