There are a million Lumi's but I'll blame this girls existence on the Lemon Horrrrrrr
Like my Polish-descended friend who keeps getting mistaken for Cuban.
You know, I want to more honest with my friends, I think I might even tell a couple them that I'm vtubing but I'm so afraid they'll be just like "oh, ok", you know? Because this is such a big, important part of my life that I'm just afraid that if I talk to them they'll be just like "ahm, ok? Uhm. Cool" and the conversation will just die there and I'm like "Hey, I want to share this part of me with you [...] because I want to celebrate my life with you" and I'm afraid I'll get turned down, somehow. Because my friends they are like family to me, but I don't think they understand they are my family.
First thing i'd like to point out.she doesn't like being compared to Pippa because she thinks Pippa jokes are too harsh or she's too rough. The comparison itself comes from the lack of understanding of Pippa
Just how did this "crashout" word spread like wildfire in the past several weeks to where even Millennial channels like The Quartering are using it instead of "hysterical"? I feel like I slipped into some Mandela Effect shit when this suddenly started popping up all over the damn place.Pupuna just had a small crashout
It happens, you hear a word once you have rarely if ever heard before and suddenly you are seeing it everywhere, mostly because your brain is now aware of it and pays extra attention each time it shows up, not because it is suddenly more common (most of the time).Just how did this "crashout" word spread like wildfire in the past several weeks to where even Millennial channels like The Quartering are using it instead of "hysterical"? I've heard it from the mouths of genXs, millennials and zoomers alike. It showed up on tiktok and has been repeated, ad nauseam, on all of twitter and youtbe for the last month or so. It has come to replace the following expressions: burning out, chimping out, meltdown, resting, getting fatigue, being exasperated, getting impatient, losing focus, losing perspective, losing consciousness...Just how did this "crashout" word spread like wildfire in the past several weeks to where even Millennial channels like The Quartering are using it instead of "hysterical"? personally I have never ever used the term "Hysterical" to describe a person, or seen anyone using it outside of word vomit/video essay.Just how did this "crashout" word spread like wildfire in the past several weeks to where even Millennial channels like The Quartering are using it instead of "hysterical"? Engaging my Foil Hat and saying it feels like another attempt to dumb down language 1984 "newspeak" style given how it was just injected into the public consciousness from out of nowhere. Just so unusual how it appeared all over the place overnight, I've never see a new word gain traction so fast and across multiple generations. Also seems to be solely and internet thing as I have yet to hear anyone utter it IRL. Never seen it used to replace "chimping out", that's a euphemism for blacks starting fights and rioting so only a matter of time before it gets censored.I've heard it from the mouths of genXs, millennials and zoomers alike. The list is ever-expanding and doesn't seem to be stopping any time soon so I'll just stop here.
If you heard "freak out" it means the same thing, "hysterical" is the more proper term you'll find in a dictionary.personally I have never ever used the term "Hysterical" to describe a person
If it was short for "crashed and burned" it would have at least made some sense but the first time I ever heard it used it was describing someone who was simply sperging out.I think crashout became a meme because its easy to understand even if you dont really know the context, its not as esoteric as other nig or zoomerspeak
again never seen freak out used in a non-newspaper context, and I have seen it being more used as being "scared" than being 'angry"Engaging my Foil Hat and saying it feels like another attempt to dumb down language 1984 "newspeak" style given how it was just injected into the public consciousness from out of nowhere. that sounds literally retardedagain never seen freak out used in a non-newspaper context, and I have seen it being more used as being "scared" than being 'angry"
Just "mad"/"angry" is enough, stop looking at the dictionary for the word mad
For millenial we used "salty"
And just like how "salty" and "on fleek" disappeared, slangs come and go mate, I really don't think the kid next gen in 10 years will be using crash out
You know what is an actual word that would be a better example of "dumbing down language" successfully?
"Literally"
I hate that it is a thing so much. It actually stuck forever and it isn't going a way.
Salty didn't disappear, I hear and read it at least a dozen times a week including just yesterday. Maybe just on TikRot it's disappeared. For millenial we used "salty"
And just like how "salty" and "on fleek" disappeared,
What do you mean? On fleek is current and in the moment lingo, at least in English deficient Japan:on fleek
